After 773 days, Stewie2k has finally returned to a Tier 1 Counter-Strike LAN.
The Boston major champion and current Smoke Criminal made his debut on Monday as a stand-in for G2 Esports at IEM Dallas. But where has Stewie been, how did this happen, and is he back for good?

He no longer has the skill for Tier 1 CS. Hooxi who is an IGL has better stats than Stewie with no IGL duties. Plus Stewie has attitude problems unlike Hooxi and we know how Stew's attitude can ruin teams e.g. Evil Geniuses

So many judgmental haters. You can't expect him to just start stomping like his glory days in Cloud9 and Liquid. There's a lot to consider and what's hilarious is most people hating wouldn't be able to get a single frag against Vitality. That being said, people just need to chill out whether they are Stewie fans or not. It's just fun to see him play officials again.

we can't really say anything regardless because as niko said, they just had like 2 days to practice while they were in EU and stewie had to play like 3 in the morning to do the scrimmage with 150+ ping some may argue that it's G2 one of the best teams itw but with no proper practice, we can't really expect stewie and G2 go any far 🤷🏻‍♂️

Absolute banger of a tourney. And that finals holy hell. Double OT, with the insane 7-12 to 12-12 from G2. Then going into 12-15 into 15-15 for a double OT. Then finally G2 winning. And holy fuck that second match with the 5-12 comeback from G2 to go into OT then to have VT win it. Finally the third match, with G2 taking the win home. Actually scripted tourney, shit felt unreal. Probably one of the best tourneys for CS2 so far.

Bro i dont understand why they put Niko on igl again. They got Nexa who have experience as an igl. Not top igl but still decent. Niko have found his csgo form back recently but still not consistent in every map. They should just let him focus on getting back to his top form. I really think Niko can still get back to be at least top 3 rifler or top 5 player overall.
