Actually Denel NTW-20 won the last poll, but I forgot I don't have it unlocked in Battlefield 2042. Steyr M95 won the second place so this is the new video for now. NTW-20 will be next.
@@WealthyInsuranceOfficial maybe he wants to make sure he covers all available games. So even if he has one in CW, he wants to make the most out of it by including 2042.
@@Fishikiyamaa He had Phantom Forces on his video back then but I'm not sure if he's gonna do it. It's a rank 220 sniper and it cost a lot of money to prebuy it
I think the BF1 M95 is one of the only bolt-actions you can stay in ADS while cycling the bolt, even with a magnification scope on top. Did I see that correctly that the bolt rotates in Enlisted? It is a straight-pull, not a Mauser-type.
Yep, I still prefer the Ross over it for straight pull sniping cuz it has a sweet spot and has a faster velocity. The M95 is pretty good for aggressive scouts.
Yes. The design of the M95 over its earlier M88 and 88/90 brother was that the bolt rotates on its locking lugs allowing for a stronger action whereas the older models of rifle M1886-1888/90 and 1888/95 used a different mechanism (wedge-lock) that was only suitable for the lower pressure black powder rounds. It was a definite improvement because it allowed for the m93 scharff-patrone to use a smokeless powder with higher pressure tolerances than said older models. So the bolt handle stays straight but the actual bolt body has a sort of rotation when cycled
Gdy Moskal - psiawiara, drogę nam zastąpi To kul z Mannlichera nikt mu nie poskąpi Oj da, oj da dana Kompanio kochana Nie masz to jak pierwsza nie! A gdby się jeszcze opierał psiajucha Każdy z nas bagnetem trafi mu do brzucha Oj da, oj da dana Kompanio kochana Nie masz to jak pierwsza nie! (Lyrics of "Kadrówka" - Song of Polish legionares during WW1)
Interesting to me that Enlisted correctly depicts the bullets as spitzer as would be correct for 8x56RS, while BFV anachronistically depicts them as the older 8x50R round with round-nose bullets. For those wondering, many (most?) M95s were converted into carbines and rechambered for 8x56 in the 1930s. After the unification, many were then sent to Bulgaria.
it's such a minor detail lol. Plus different ammo supplies was commonly used through out ww2. It is not beyond reason for a soldier to be supplied that bullet. Especially if they are rear guard. Furthermore near the end of the war Germany was using anything and everything that could shoot a bullet. Volksturm would definitely had this in their hands. War isn't as simple as you put it here. And it's really funny when gamers like you nitpick over little details like this
@anamationmax I said it was interesting, not triggering. You're a pretty hostile guy. my interest here comes from being a shooter and a collector, none of the games in this video even interest me. Obviously you're correct that both rounds were still kicking around Europe, but you can drop the less-autistic-than-thou act, nobody is impressed. the whole point of these videos is the highlighting of minute details.
As a proud owner and user of the Steyr M95, I'd like to note that the slower bolt cycling like in Isonzo and BFV is most realistic. Yes its a straight pull and all, but its also pretty chunky and you have to be pretty forceful with it
it is a m95/30 variant in enlisted. You can look at cartridges to understand variants. in bf5 its also m95/30 variant but still use wrong cartidges by mistake
Absolutely love the BF1 M95. One that has no one shot sweetspot. Still or maybe that is the reason, the consistency, why I love it more than other snipers.
I remember the BF 1 Open Beta, you could load individual rounds into this rifle on a partial reload, which was fun to see, since it's technically impossible to do on a packet-loading rifle.
Technically partial/tactical reloads are possible with the Steyr M95/Berthier M1916/M1 Garand, and other enblock clip fed rifles. There's a way to remove them to allow for clean insertion of new clips. BF1 showed this with the Carcano, and the M1 Garand side button ejects the clip.
I'm pretty sure that's a game mechanic for certain weapons, verdun also did this for the mauser c96. It's one of the best pistols for close quarters, but that is countered by no partial reloads allowed
