We install some STi Brembo calipers front and rear on my BRZ and show the process of modifying the Torque solution rear claiper brackets to fit properly. Website Links: www.ZZPowdercoating.com
Hey just wondering about how the pads sit on the rotor in the rear cause I’ve see brake swaps with brembos where the pad hangs over the outer edge of the rotor. And just want to make sure I’m getting full contact on the pads
@@EvanIggy I just went back and confirmed, because I had completely planned this swap before I sold my '13 and I will likely do the swap on my '22. But yeah, the 08-17 rear rotor and caliper are direct bolt on, just need to either: buy the DBA dual drilled rotor, have it drilled or do it yourself. The 08-17 rear caliper will also have a close to stock brake bias as it has a 40mm piston instead of a 36mm. In case you ever decide to swap em out.
What’s up man for the fronts what year Sti calipers did you used also did you have to do any modification to make them fit with the previous big brake kit for the fronts
I know this video is quite old, but I was wondering if you know wether or not this caliper setup will work with brz performance pack rotors. Based off some research the Dba vs pp rotors seem to be the same dimensions, only difference seems to be drilled vs not
@@EvanIggygotcha! I appreciate the reply, I was able to find a dude on a forum who ran these calipers with performance pack rotors. He didn’t provide any info as to how it felt, but I think I may give it a try
RudeLude97 I believe if you use the 2008+ rear brembos you don’t need brackets. I’m not 100% sure though since I didn’t try them. I have 2004 STI rear brembos
@@MrOrangecarrots the fronts fit 100% my stock dust sheild even fits with them on have yet to try the rears progress has been slow on my car check it out @turbskibrz on insta
