Another company butchering their performance brand. Why don’t you just start making STI coffee mugs too and don’t forget license plate frames. Offer stickers too, they add 5hp each!
There is still a huge difference between a wrx, and a wrx sti. 6, and 4 piston brembo brakes, bigger, and wider tires, better transmission, 3 lsd, different engine's, more power, a slightly stiffer chassis, and shocks, leather comes with base sti.
You need to stop reading the gossip car blogs. That rumor has been going around since at least 17. When I bought my sti. I kept hearing 2018 would be a total redesign, with more power etc. Ever year since. They repeat the same thing, but just change the year. The only reason I know about it know. Is because people share it on facebook. Until Subaru, or any trust worthy company aka car and driver, motortrend etc. Say any thing. Don't trust it. Also that 2021 Subaru sti going around. That I'm sure you have seen. Was first shown in 18.
tipptruck It’s not a gossip any longer bro. They are in production right now. I have a friend works in Subaru headquarter and they are actually producing the new STI 2021/2022 with a brand new concept of AZ tech engine from the improvement of a boxer engine. I’m waiting for it. Produces minimum of 400 horsepower. 👍
The GT86/BRZ are cool cars. But with no power! Sorry 165 HP on the weehls is a joke for a sporty car! The 2 liter turbo with 300 HP is perfect for this car. But thats never gone happen.
Are they joking? Some spoilers and black wheels and they are supposed to be performance cars. And of course, a generic musoc track to lour in the 20'somethings right?
Subaru for sake of all car lovers go back being the brand you were in lates 90s early 00s and make proper reliable performance cars with upgraded oil systems (been Subarus weak point) there is a huge market gap for someone doing Japanese performance old school wise and doing regular family cars in the same time. AMG and the rest European tuners need competition
(in Description) "We infiltrate BRZ GT300 2020 shakedown test in Fuji speed way and play with transporter, and ran BRZ, Impreza and forester equipped STI aero parts finding the right time. There is same approach between GT300 aero dynamics and STI aero parts."
Hmmm, soo.... we have a rear wheel drive race car that, what, supposed to be inspiration for ALL WHEEL DRIVE road cars. What happened to you Subaru, you get hit in the head?
