Can we see the demo with a less porous material like polished nickel? I don't tend to use nozzles made of rough surfaces like brushed metal used in the demo..

How durable is the coating of PTFE left behind? I'm using a brass bristled brush as a nozzle wipe and need to know if that would need to be removed or if after the coating is applied.
@SliceEngineering
@SliceEngineering Месяц назад
A brass brush is quite abrasive and will wear down the plastic repellent coating, requiring you to reapply much more frequently. If you want to use a nozzle wipe, we'd recommend a less abrasive option like a nylon brush, silicone, or even PTFE wipe.

@@SliceEngineering Working really good it looks like, with the moisture level all the way down to 44%!
@SliceEngineering
@SliceEngineering Месяц назад
@@lhoumark Our Repbox isn't fully gasketed (e.g. airtight) as it was built for display, not as a drybox. That being said, our offices average 53% relative humidity and we haven't recharged the desiccant in months since we don't print from the marketing box, so it's working great at 44%!

Just ordered some to try out. I hate seeing even slight build up on nozzle worrying about it getting stuck on print outer wall.
