How does it compare to a Pace RC529? Sounds like the bb height is the main difference?

Coming from an xc 29er hardtail and looking at the squatch or stanton switch9er, availability aside any input into which you would go for? Looking to get into more natural trails riding and maybe an enduro event or two.

Nice riding and great information on the bike. Do you know the weight of the frame? Did you have any issues with the BB height? Isn't the sta too steep for a hardtail? I think about replacing my Moxie V1 with the squatch, as the Moxie is a bit too long for me (Long Moxie vs medium squatch). Which size did you choose and how tall are you?

I'm 180cm, I'll find out the weight of the frame soon as my spies at Stif are back in the warehouse but remind me! TBH if you're finding the Moxie a bit long maybe see if you can get an original Morph as that's not XL on reach.

Hi Guy, looking to get a hardtail to compliment my V3 Bronson to make my local peak district bridleways a bit more interesting. Do you think this would fit the bill or is the geometry that progressive that it might feel a bit cumbersome / not as playful?

I think the geometry is fine apart from the fact you might struggle with the crank clearance on all those rocky/steppy climbs in the peak. With that in mind have a look at the Cotic SolarisMax or the Pace 529

Have you tried the industry 9 enduro s wheelset, that engagement on the hub is excellent

Love Industry Nine and I think Stif are actually planning offering an I9 based wheel set on the Squatch. Obviously you can put whatever wheels you want onto a frame build too.

Probably, but the bottom bracket height would be ridiculously low.

I ride with a 150mm fork, don't know why stif declares it with max 140mm???? In my opinion with 150 the sweet spot

Shot this a couple of weeks ago up at Stainburn in North Yorkshire. Bit sloppy and my leg still isn't 100% (hence chicken lines in places) but I got really lucky with the light 👍🏻
