For a 1971 f100 6r80 install, where do you mount your cross member. Is there an existing hole in the frame that you use? The documentation is a little weak. Or, is it a “it depends” answer?
Place it where it is best for your install Patrick. Set the driveline angle where you want it, attach the crossmember, position the mounting brackets on the frame, mark and drill the holes. :-)
