I got the 3rd generation Farmertec 660 Pro and it’s a beast. Swapped out some of the weaker parts for Stihl OEM parts and it’s an amazing saw for $500.
@@namelessxyz5218 I put on a new pull cord, swapped out the whole chain tightener assembly and the pull cord recoil. My 660 pro outperforms my buddy’s Farmertec regular 660. It blew his away so bad that we already went and had work done to his saw because it was a night and day difference. The G111 are great too if u need a good back up top handle saw. It’s a back up to my back up lol but it works great.
My only concern would be longevity. I have a ms441cm that's got 10 years and close to 1000 hours on it. Its gettin a little long in the tooth. I cant decide if I wanna rebuild it with oem parts or just buy another saw.
both very good saw, i think it just come down to the guy in the black top being a slightly faster operator and the right hand end of the log being a bit easier to cut through. but you make your own conclusions.
