Hello my friend thanks for your advice, we have all the protection that we need: glasses, boots, gloves, on that terrain it’s just grass without no single rock,🙋♂️
Hello, thanks for your advice, first we have glasses and gloves, the grass it’s dry so we decided not to wear something long like a shirt, me personally I never use helmet when I’m cutting with trimmer line only when I’m using different blades, thanks greetings,🙋♂️
Nunca me gustado el caparazón ese q biene con la maquina para cortar el hilo yo se lo quito es incomodo cortar a si y aparte el corte qda mordido y el hilo se corta mucho

Their is a new trimmer head out there it is called auto speed feed trimmer head from Stihl fs56 RC string trimmer I don't know if it fits all the other Stihl weed eaters out there
the girl should have been more careful, as she could get carbon monoxide poisoning by following another person so close. my classmate died at work with similar conditions
Excelente video. Pero es importante usar lentes o anteojos para realizar todo tipo de trabajo en estas máquinas. Ya que el golpe de la basura llega a los ojos. Saludos desde Guatemala
Very impressive! The only thing I concerned is about the safety while both of you demonstrating the machine. Mind your distance at least 25m away as if there any flying object might be dangerous. Again dont forget the basic PPE while operating such machine.
Hello, thanks for the advice I totally agree with you, we dare to work so close to each other because I know the terrain and it’s very clean without no debris whatsoever, 🙋♂️
I work with these machines and I know how accidents happen with flying objects. The cameraman has been very brave to stand so close and in front. Never the operator should work so close and never one should use the machine facing another person. Glad nothing has happened.
Agree 100%, more people should know this, im wishing a working face mask, and a triangular brush blade for christmas tomorow :D, Merry christmas btw, and i know from my line trimmer that with only glasses i sometimes get small stones, dirt and grass on my face, im 14, and i bought this used km 131 lately, and almost haven't used it but a litlle, and i won't use it again until i get a face mask :D @@machinesdequalite
Stihl is a very good brand. But for this kind of work (meadow mowing), I would rather choose a lighter brushcutter with a smaller engine capacity, due to consumption and also less strenuous work. Alternatively, a different type of mower, not a brushcutter. The 10 kg weight of the brushcutter is crazy if you have to work with it for several hours a day. A good but also powerful brushcutter with high-quality components does not weigh more than 8.5 kg, ideally between 6 and 8 kg. I had a Stihl FS 450, but I sold it because compared to my second brushcutter at home - a 24-year-old Honda UMT 28 D, it had almost double the consumption and was also heavier. Honda mows everything like an STIHL but for less money. I would recommend buying these strongest STIHL brush cutters only to companies that use them every day for several hours (if they don't mind higher fuel consumption), or use them in the forest with a disc intended for that purpose. For regular users and households who mow the grass once every few days or weeks, as I do, while I mow 5 -7 hours a day, there are much better brush cutters, but with a smaller engine capacity (from 28 - to approx. 36 cc), precisely because of consumption and weight. I have had an excellent experience with Honda. Brush cutter maintenance is also important (mainly cleaning the air filter) and even more important is the correct oil ratio, I use red STIHL and especially high-octane E 5 gasoline. Especially in older brush cutters, never refuel or mix E 10 gasoline with a higher ethanol content of up to 10 % (alcohol). It destroys rubber hoses and various seals that were not adapted to it from the factory. I'm just filming and uploading parts of a service tutorial for my Honda brush cutter on RU-vid to my channel. I mix STIHL red oil and high-octane (100) E 5 in a ratio of 1 : 40 and I am very satisfied with the performance, super consumption, and also with the fact that my Honda brush cutter has been working for me motorically without problems for almost 25 years. I just had a problem with one rubber tube when I was refueling with new E10 gasoline for a while, which replaced Natural 95 gasoline at gas stations in Slovakia after 2020. After one rubber tube broke, I'm already refueling with a few cents more expensive, but much better quality gasoline E 5, with which the brushcutter has higher performance, lower consumption, and does not clog the fuel system. If I were to buy a Stihl again, so that I would like to use it every day, I would probably rather buy a smaller, but also professional STIHL FS 311, precisely because of better consumption and lower weight. Greetings from Slovakia.
Hello, thanks for the advice, I agree with you, indeed the big machines are heavy but also when I go to work I can cut a lot more faster with them especially with the brush knife or with the trimmer heads, greetings from Romania,🙋♂️
Szia!
Impressive. I like them both but it looks like the durocut 44 with the 4 string head cuts the best. I’ve spent hours and hours cutting similar conditions with the FS250. That’s why I’m looking at the big boy model.
FS250 is brilliant machine so light so much power. Take the spark arrester out and it will go a little better too and won't carbon up. Take the guard off and get a speedfeed head it will be as faster in these conditions than these 560's with guards still fitted. but remove the guards from these 560's and they will be very fast The only issue with these big machines is they are slow to change directions from left to right as its a lot of weight. In short grass 250 is the faster machine.
Good review but notice the machines are at maximum revs and basically at low load. This is like driving your car in 1st gear on the highway. You will get there eventually but its slow. With that much power you need to take the guard off and let the string out a lot more. You should be able to cut a 600mm swath maybe more depends on how the string behaves. I go until it starts to wrap around the head and then i know I've gone 1 bump too many. I cut farm hills for up to 8 hours at a time. I don't have time to be cutting with those silly push in strings. They wear down and then you are only cutting 400mm then you have to stop and put new ones in again. I carry heaps of extra line and a speed feed head. Keep bumping it and maintaining huge cutting path.
Hello, thanks for the advice , I agree with you the machine indeed it’s at maximum revs, me personally I like to cut the grass always with the deflector on ,now for this big machine like in the video I have a new guard with a bigger cutting diameter ( 480 mm ) , if the grass it’s big and thick even with this big machine it will be a struggle to cut without guard and like you said 600 mm I think it’s too much in big and thick grass, smaller grass I think it can handle it, greetings,🙋♂️
No profesionalidad, el video muy bien , pero no caretas de seguridad , nada profesional 👌 quiénes trabajan esto todos los días saben el gran riesgo k existe sin protección en la cara 👌
Hello, thanks for your suggestion, I’m wearing face protection only when I’m working with circular saw blade and shredder blade, when I’m working with trimmer line I use only eye protection 🥽 and that is enough for me,🙋♂️
This machine don't cut grass, they vaporize it ! ! ! 😂 I own the FS 460 machine and i can say its really the most polyvalent machine from Stihl with very good confort and consumption, i'm sure that with the new stihl harness Xtreem i could cutting grass all day long without effort. 560/561 are really "beast' for forestry and very hard task, nothing my brushcutter can't do, but, less easier !
