I just subscribed today watching a video you posted six years ago about two stroke oils, i watched the video and read most all the comments but I didn't see anyone asking yiou about older saws that run lower rpm, i am running 041, 051, and today just bought a 056av super all older so question is are you still recommending K2 and how about older saws? tks man i wish i had that much wood to cut amazing.
So far the best price/place to get that K2 that i have found is Chaparral Motorsports I buy two 64oz jugs and get them shipped for 77 bucks so far i got 4 jugs, they have free shipping over i think 50+@@Andyshine77
Nice video. Have you heard anything about Husqvarna working on a 80cc saw coming out? Ive heard rumblings about it but not sure if there's any truth to it. Thanks
I'm a bit out of the loop these days. I don't really think there's a gap to fill there in Husqvarna's bottom line. Most guys will just run a 572 or move on to the 592, and the 390 is still available, but it's not much lighter than the 592.
@Andyshine77 I agree mostly. Seems like they need something to compete with the 500. Seems the 500 is the only 80cc saw left on the Market. I have 572 and 592 but I would like a light 80cc also. Seems like they could put 80cc in the 572 frame. Big gap between the 572 and 585. Thanks
@jimjackson5836 It would be nice to have a Husky that size, but I don't see it happening. The 572 has had some crank bearing issues, so I'm not sure how adding more mass would work there. Something would need to be beefed up, probably the case.
@Andyshine77 Have you messed with the newer Makita 7900 at all? There is a new one local to me with the low top filter cover. I've seen they need the muffler opened up. Not sure if it's worth messing with? Just curious if you have ran one or have the new version. Thanks
A little. The ignition coil is sev limited to like 12k or something, I don't remember exactly. The non windowsed piston changed the secondary balance off, so I think they run a little rougher. And the SLR is very restrictive. It's still a good saw, but the original is better.
