STIHL TRIMMER REPAIR how to adjust the valves on a 4mix stihl trimmer 

You can still do delicate trimming with the 4mix it’s just a bit harder that’s all. I run a 100 as my main trimmer to do my landscaping and also have a old 100 at my full time cemetery maintenance job. I trim in between and around artificial and real potted and planted flowers, flags etc. without needing to move too much. Yes feathering a two stroke trimmer is a bit easier than on a 4 mix, but it can be done. If you take the time and play with the trigger a bit you can find where the low and medium throttle speed are. The only thing I kinda don’t like about Stihl s 4 mixes are that there’s 2 valves under the engine cover that u or a dealer need to be checked at least once annually to make sure it’s running and idling properly. But other than that I like the extra and torque for the thicker stubborn stuff and if I need slower delicate speed and could do that too. I have tried a Stihl 94r and for whatever reason got one in at work this past year and I to be honest I kinda don’t like and or care for it. They say it’s 25cc which isn’t bad, but it just feels to me to be too underpowered for bi weekly residential and fully commercial groundskeeping work.

F5 45 DOES NOT HAVE VALVES

Being TOO easy to pull is usually the sign of a compression problem. Check that the spark plug isn't loose. If not, it may indicate a head gasket problem, or worn piston rings. If this were the case, however, it shouldn't run as well as you say. Small engines that usually require a valve adjustment become difficult to pull over.

Carbon breaking loose from engine running stronger. Just make sure you run stihl HP ultra oil @ 50:1 or motomix and You'l be fine

Done it wrong if you listen to this prick. This video is wrong you shoukd have set them on the exhaust stroke another 180 degrees

Check your tank vent. If it has a rubber hose going from the tank to the air filter housing the hose should only allow air into the tank, but not out of it. The rubber hose has a check valve built in to it to do that. If the check valve is bad fuel can get into the air filter. Not an expert here, just what I've found out after working on a 4 mix for a friend. Might be different on a 2 cycle though.
