Alot of people don't use water cause that will just cause a nasty mess all over the working area. In some applications we use water. But I wouldn't use it. Diamond blades are good without it and the benefit of still being able to work and not track print all over the place is worth it in my opinion.
@@jonnyg4917 it does stand to reason if you had a little water hose you could rinse everything down when you're done right? I know that house behind you is dusted
@@boatsmith2858 Yeah I get you, I used to think the same, about the home itself and neighbors. Most guys will do what boss man says, it’s not that we don’t wanna do it like that but some companies don’t have the heavy duty vacuum ( draw a lot of power usually pops breakers in peoples homes so a generator is often used. So the proper way would be with the vacuum, the suction attachment to the saw and water but then again that’s pricey and too much work for some people. This proper way would normally be used inside a home or under ground parking garages do to improper ventilation. In this applications the customers are charged more. Usually homes get pressure washed after the job, separately hired by the home owner. It all just comes back to money dude. So after jobs like this, homeowners will hire someone to pressure wash the house, often times it’s someone recommended by the contractor itself, a friend or family member ect.. 🤣 it just the way it goes if customers want do home upgrades. As for the neighbors? Sucks for them.
I was wondering if you can recommend a cheap saw that cuts concrete, and the metal that you fond in concrete garden posts? Got some old posts in back garden and couple are standing upright intact and one is at a right angle with just the inner metal holding it together
Amazon has some great corded electric concrete saws for just a $150 to $200. The diamond blade will cut steel but if you have an angle grinder with an abrasive wheel that will work
Can this possibly damage a car? I had a contractor do this right in front of my car I had dust all over the car after I took it to the car wash. I noticed a bunch of chips on the car, but I couldn’t tell if they were rock chips or if it happenedfrom the contractors, can you tell me what you think?
Best two stroke tool there is by a mile Not much fun on your back After ten minutes 😂 I’m yet to trust any battery cutters as of yet but I’m sure they could do the job Was there no water 💦 to hook up to I hate cutting without water
John, I can tell you and this saw have been acquainted 😂. More like 5 minutes for me and my backs hurting 😂. The home owner had their water cut off to the outside spickets for winter and weren’t home. I could have cut a hole in a water bottle and got some from that pond behind me😂 but said fuck it. I hate that dust too brother. That shits No good for your lungs. The battery saws look great and cut great I just don’t think the run time is quite there yet but they’re trying. The MAKITA cut off is $2500 for the saw and 2 sets of batteries but the 2 sets only equal out to about a tank of gas. At least that’s what the Hilti reps say their saw is. We got this Stihl used in great condition for $250!😂. No brainer man. You take care brother. Hope you have a great weekend man🤛
This is one tool I don't think will ever be as good with a battery!! Unless you strap a massive book sack style battery! And still you can't fill it up in less than a minute. For small jobs yeah but for big shit I think we're still not there!! What you think B? And the thumb nail looked like you were cutting snow lmao 🤣
😂😂. Oh man for a lot of linear feet at 4 inches thick like this. Took almost 2 full tanks of mix. Idk what that equates to in battery life but yeah man for smaller stuff the battery powered shit might cut it. I’m tempted to find out though. I know that Hilti Nuron and xgt look 🔥🔥
@@IMPACT-NATION same for me 7 am to 7 or 8 pm. I’ve got the sthl ts 410 I was recently cutting rock for a retaining wall I had neighbours complaint about noise and dust. I don’t use water I find it more messy just use a power washer after the Job is done🤣
Mark your line with a pencil. Then, do a dry run to keep the line before turning on the water. Who cares about the mud on the floor. Better that than all the dust.
