We are a large family with 10 kids ranging in age from 22-8. We homeschool live on a few acres in Central Texas. With our family size, we buy a lot of groceries, so expect several once-a-month grocery hauls at the first of every month. On our farm, we raise great pyrenees, a handful of livestock animals and tend to a small garden. It's an adventure, and still new to us. So join us! Sometimes we succeed, and many times we don't.

If people say you need to be grateful. They must not watch your videos very much. You are a very grateful sweet person. Fire scares the heck out of me. I lost my 5 and half month old Granddaughter in a fire. It hurts everyday. 💔 But I'm very grateful I have 2 beautiful Granddaughters and a grandson now. But it don't stop me from missing my first Granddaughter.

Oh Brandy, the shock of losing your home is horrible. The ppl that are saying you “should be grateful “ for whatever don’t follow you routinely. Stay strong, and know your support team that really cares are with you!

I had a huge fire, i was pregnant with number 7, we were displaced for several months and lost everything...it was very traumatizing, you have every right to feel sad and overwhelmed 🙏

It would be traumatic to lose everything that you owned in a fire! I know you are very thankful and grateful. People should watch what they comment to others. Know one can begin to even comprehend what you may be feeling!

My daughter has a gluten intolerance. She eats no gluten, dairy or meat. It doesn't leave much to eat. But she has become a wonderful cook. She has to prepare everything she eats. It's insane the price of gluten free products. Love your kitty. I have 4 inside, 3 outside feral. Hope your house gets repaired soon.

I'm so sorry that you have to deal with the keyboard warriors that think their job is to condemn your feelings and things you do. They really need to learn that a person can be sad but still thankful also. People hide behind a keyboard and have nothing good to say and many times they have no clue what it's like to go thru what a person is going thru, it's a shame. Everyone of you that have these youtube channels share so much and I always enjoy watching you and your family. My Sister in law has one and she gets nasty comments too. Anyone that thinks their cats do not jump on tables or counters have cats that know how to play them. LOL HUGS!!

Love the treasures you received. I was immediately thinking that frame would be a good mirror. You could have a mirror/glass company put a mirror on that frame. I love antiques and vintage pieces. I’m sorry you lost so many of your treasures in the fire.

Ugh,the trolls are so mean and hateful.You don't have to explain to them,they aren't there to help you,or spending their money on your home! Tell them you're going to pray for them and then block them! I love all you share,and hopefully you will have lots of good things coming soon! Been through a electrical house fire, in the 90's to this day no candles will ever be burned in any house i live in, only a warmer, yes they're are triggers. I am very cautious of any open flame 🔥

You're talking about post traumatic stress disorder. Fear of what caused pain or devastation is normal and has a name.

❤I am so sorry that others are reacting so poorly. It’s important that you allow yourself and your family to grieve and heal. To do that, you have to be able to feel safe to process with the Lord and others. Sometimes I wonder if others are trying to feel a sense of control by projecting onto others in those ways. For what it’s worth, I had a home robbery. It’s a long/hard road because there are constant things to do, replace, and process. You’re absolutely handling everything so amazingly! God is within you. You will not fall. ❤

Make sure the tamari sauce says gluten free. I got sick using the regular. Thrive Market frozen section has lots of gluten free goodies as well.

I agree that of course you are thankful no one was hurt but you have to move forward and rebuilding your home and being able to move back in is part of healing process, i am always so inspired by your grace and faithfulness to God, no matter what life brings your way you are true servant of God, you are in my prayers x

After our house fire, fire whistles and the smell of people’s fireplaces were really triggering for me. When we were in our rental while our house was being rebuilt, a house across the alley caught on fire. It was very triggering to say the least. Watching the flames and then having all of the fire trucks in our back yard. It is ok to still feel a certain way about it. Nobody knows how you feel unless they have experienced it ❤

If you break your arm and ignore it without treating it, it doesn't mean it's not broke. In fact, it means it won't heal properly and will continue to cause problems. You can be thankful while still processing trauma. They aren't mutually exclusive. Although I've been guilty of pointing out things to be thankful for to people I'm sure. I think it's because it's so helpful for me when I am overwhelmed and anxious so I do it to be encouraging not judgmental.

Thinking of you and your family. Our neighbors just lost everything in a fire last night. Everyone got out (including their pets). We also evacuated our house just in case it spread. My kids are 13, 11, 9, and 7. They are having a hard time processing what happened eventhough it was not our home. They have family nearby to stay with. Do you have any tips/advice for what we could do for them, or what was the most helpful thing someone did for your family? I reached out this morning, but obviously do not want to bother them. Your family is amazing, and you are doing a wonderful job! Sending love!

In one video where she does discuss all the great help they got I do remember her mentioning that of course prepared meals are always welcome and gift cards to absolutely anywhere. You are very generous and kind to think of them during your most challenging. In life. I'm sure anything you offer will be beyond graciously appreciated.
