I’m happy as long as there is some sort of grading system…I like the numbers better than letter grades because when you use letters, too much gets grouped together. For example, an F grade would be anything 5.9 and down if you were to compare it to the number scale. A 5.9 bourbon is way better than a 2.4 bourbon…giving them both an F groups them together, even though one is 2x better..does that make sense?

Using 5.9, 6.5, etc. Is the same as using 0-100. So either 1 of those is fine. Also, you have to use the whole scale, meaning some whiskey has to be a 0(zero). You might not find that in a bourbon, but you likely find a canadian 'whiskey' that you can honestly rate a 0.

@@motohead077 mike was not a fan of the number system… so we decided to go with the letters… and as we go through the year as the letters start to fill we will put them in a blind to see who wins out of them..

Dare to be different. I suggest you keep the little grade scale, since a lot of whiskey tubers use the number scale. I was happy to see all your pluses came in about the same. It tells me your scoring system is pretty good. As always, I still enjoy your videos thanks.

That was another reason I was trying to stay away from the numbers… that and it is tough giving number grades with two people…. I kinda like how we are doing it….future Sunday fundays may benefit from it

I think you might have mentioned this already in a prior episode but hoping your going to do a Penelope Architect Build test to see if you guys can detect any difference between the versions you have. Great review today but perplexed by the positive review for the Still Austin Musician. I picked up a bottle and find it almost undrinkable from the harsh finish I get. Thanks for the content!!!

Interesting… and yes…. We are going to do a blind with 4 of our Penelope that we have so far…. Because I also want to see if we can get a different flavor out of them when drinking them in a blind…
