React to the animated story version the night witches from Russia it's called sabaton animated story version the night witches it shows how strong the Russian army was back in ww2 it's a music video
She's asking about the culture behind it. Like anything else it's a status symbol and symbolizes that you have money and are part of a certain segment of society. The tricky thing is all symbols become gentrified with time. No longer is it gangstas and drug dealers or even car guys that drive around with hydraulics, pimped out cars, or big rims. I've known a couple of guys that took out 5k-10k loans so they can get some big rims and drive around pretending to be drug dealers.
@@andrew348 I don't think that everyone that has a lowrider with some hydraulics wants to represent a gangsta, as an example I'd want to drive that and use em hydraulics but I don't want to represent some bad people
Hydraulics were used to adjust the suspension height, to ride low, when you hit the switch the car pops up, and that part became a competition. They have competitions to see who can jump their car the highest at Lowrider car shows.
@@RussianReactionReviews This came out in 1999 CD is called Dr. Dre 2001 i was a little boy my favorite video i used want a Lowrider Hydraulic 64 impala jump on my mom Bed when the cars start hopping My favorite was women i always been a Hip Hop fan listen to old school not new stuff out no back then women was dressing how they wanted to they are women models called Vixens. This is one of his best songs in my opinion, a true Dre classic 💯 I've been thinking about getting a car like the black one you see them driving in towards the end of the video 🔥 Thank you for another great reaction, Irina 🙂👍
This! This my childhood. I’m from California, and I grew up on this West Coast music. It’s cool seeing you react to this. Right now ppl are reacting to Snoop “beefing” with Eminem. It’s too bad. They should be coming together right now, especially since Dr Dre means a lot to both artists.
Lowrider car culture began in Los Angeles, California in the mid-to-late 1940s and during the post-war prosperity of the 1950s. Initially, some Mexican-American youths lowered blocks, cut spring coils, z'ed the frames and dropped spindles. The aim of the lowriders is to cruise as slowly as possible, "Low and Slow" being their motto. By redesigning these cars in ways that go against their intended purposes and in painting their cars so that they reflect and hold meanings from Mexican culture, lowriders create cultural and political statements that go against the more prevalent Anglo culture. However, this resulted in a backlash: the enactment of Section 24008 of the California Vehicle Code on January 1, 1958, which made it illegal to operate any car modified so that any part was lower than the bottoms of its wheel rims. , a customizer named Ron Aguirre developed a way of bypassing the law with the use of hydraulic Pesco pumps and valves that allowed him to change ride height at the flick of a switch. Eventually it just became a los angeles thing
While, I was never a fan oh Rap/Hip Hop in general. I do have respect for the older artists like DRE and Snoop. I wish him the best. And hope he feels better soon.
he just took a shot at Eminem this week!apparently he forgot he has no actual bars and is a fake ass gangster he's not a crip he just claims colors and bakes cookies
@@ForumSnowboards11 I'm not sure where you got any of that. He didn't take a shot at Eminem like you claim. All of you Stans seem to think if your going to mention Eminem in a song you have to kiss his ass. He was telling facts about what Eminem used to sing about and how now he doesn't want fans that voted for Trump. Maybe Eminem can't take the outside pressure of not conforming. Seems hypocritical of him if you ask me. Also, I have never seen him claim gang affiliation. If you have something to back it up link it. But its undeniable that he has both bars and talent. If you're going to be attack him, attack what he says with things to back it up. Otherwise, you're just leaving comments to be a troll.
@@ForumSnowboards11 Its so news worthy that when I googled Tom Macdonald takes shot at Eminem just now the only thing that came up is the song Fake Woke. Looks like no one but you really cares.
The lowrider car culture started with Mexican-Americans in the late 40s; they started modifying cars like this in Los Angeles, California. The culture evolved into African-American and hip-hop culture. Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg, the rappers in this video, are from California, where the lowrider culture is big. This video is all shot in California.
I'm glad you really liked it and ya its definitely a different atmosphere I remember all my uncles and their friends hanging out side their houses with working out lifting weights cleaning their cars BBQ on the grill just having a great time I was like 11 years old at the time I'm 29 now and still jam out to this type of music
Wow that's another throw back and also, damn this makes me feel old lol! I was close to your age now when this came out! "Get off my lawn ya rotten kids!" 🤪
Great job with your reaction To Still Dre from Dr Dre . / I have one question for you Irina that is How do you look more stunning and gorgeous in all your Videos Because like this one You Are those.
All I know is that sometime after World War II. Mexican Americans somehow decided it would be a good idea to fit their cars with hydraulics. Fast forward many decades later and it’s pretty much a part of their culture in certain parts of the south west
You have the beauty of both. You’ll learn and hear something new everytime you listen or do research. Americans are still listening to songs and finding gems. It’s an honor to see and hear your perspective.
Really that's what American pop culture is. It's so great that it's reached everywhere in Asia, Europe, Africa. No one knows how to have fun like Americans do.
You probably don't know this, but those cars you saw in the music video have hydraulics. They have an air bag system which can dynamically adjust the car's height and suspension of any type. They even do it for competitions to see whose car can jump the highest. These famous cars where known as lowriders. And man, were they REALLY popular at the time, especially here in California! Fun fact, they actually originated in Southern California during the post-WW2 times by a group of Mexican-Americans who modernized their cars by colorfully spray-painting them and added wire-spoke wheels, and originally designed the cars to drive and ride very low to the ground, giving them the name "lowrider". However, the low height of the cars broke driving regulations and gave them tickets. That's why they invented car hydraulics, so that way they can adjust the car's height to it's original position whenever needed or whenever they want. But still, the name lowrider remained and you can still find these handsome, classic hydralic cars anywhere, mainly in the Western United States. My dad LOVES lowriders so much, and he always wanted to take me to a lowrider contest. By the way, you should check out the song "Lowrider" by War. Classic, classic song and it will make you want to ride a lowrider! :)❤❤❤❤
I love all your videos!! I'm a huge fan! I think you are so funny! I would love to see you do comedy like stand up comedy or something. I'd love you to have a Twitter where you just put jokes! You are the best!
The type of car is called a lowrider. They are mostly found in the Los Angeles area. I am from LA and over there people like older gents take cars seriously, from street racing to muscle cars--to modern sportscars. Putting a hydraulic system on a car requires a lot of modifications and parts break very often, also its not a very comfortable ride and the job needs to be done right or it can have dangers. Its mostly a way of expressing who you are and what you stand for. Someone can easily spend 70K on customizing an old chevy its probably just a weekend car.
Yessss this song is a classic! 😎 As usual wonderful video! I would love to see you react to some old school Eminem 😹😹😹 something like The Real Slim Shady, Buissness, Without Me, or My Name Is
The answer as to why those cars are jumping up and down is that they are lowriders. The lowrider culture started in California in 1959 when the laylow law was passed which stated that cars could not be so low that the frame could touch the ground. To raise and lower the ride height of their vehicles at will California and started adding aircraft hydraulics to their vehicles to raise and lower the frame that will.
The cars you were admiring are *Low Riders* & they have *Hydraulics* which were first put on to lowered cars to raise up to get over obstacles speed bumps Etc. It just continued to advance over the years being able to lift up higher & faster being able to hop higher & higher
The cars jumping is important American car culture. In the 1950's People in California started modifying their cars. in the 1960's California made it illegal. People started putting hydraulic and pneumatic suspensions in their cars. This is where the term "Hitting the Highway" came from. People forgetting to raise their cars and sparks would fly out from under.
NWA day's where great, also Tupac Shakur And Notorious B.I.G. I miss their music. I was and never picked a side I just lesion to for the air of the music. I do listen to the story but I also lesion to the flow & word play. I may never be able to do it but I see how it works..
In the 90's, we had lowriders and funked them out to the max! Air hydraulics are connected to front end... makes them jump and drive on 3 wheels (3 wheel motion)... the radio in these cars would blow your ears... a was a great time to live!
Cars are lowriders mostly a Mexican style but African Americans adopted the style but the hydraulics are called effects Dr Dre just got out of hospital brain anuruism Snoop Dogg & Dr Dre had some great music
You liking low riders and rap just make you so much more beautiful to me and they have hydraulics on them tjats why the are bounceing lol had a few back in the day just like these
Lowriders are all about expression of yourself. Hydraulics is another thing they could add to make their cars stand out from the crowd. Dr. Dre is who help Eminem(just watched the lose yourself video) break through to make it big. 8 mile is the movie Lose Yourself is from and I HIGHLY recommend watching it. I gotta say like always I enjoyed your reaction to this video.
If you like this, listen to some tracks from The Chronic album. Legendary. It’s extremely sad that you cant experience this freedom and joy that we have here. I assume that is what you were alluding too.
If you get the chance to come to California, A lot of people will give you a little ride on the low riders, especially if your not from the country they really love seeing your first reaction😁
the cars are like from 60'z and some of them are imphala and etc i donno the names but the jumping system is called hydraulic system the cars are comenly called as "lowridres" and the reason for hoping like you know the swag and cool of 60'z so that was the thing like if u saw a lowrider in 2021 you are the lucky person on this earth cause there were so many in late 60'z but it like extinct in 2021 but still some original lowriders are there in hoods
Dr.Dre the legend he brought us easy Ice Cube Eminem snoopthedog and Eazy-E brought us Bone Thugs my favorite rap group Eminem my favorite solo rapper you should do Forgot About Dre great reaction piece
