I don't think they ever said if Pete's son stuck around, I see 2 possibilities. He went abroad for work because hes a property developer and/or he realized Pete was an alky bastard and cut ties. The real life actor for Pete, (Jake D'Arcy) passed away just before season 7 got filmed. There was an 8 year break between season 6 and season 7. Jake D'Arcy had a lengthy acting career spanning 44 years.

I imagine anything he was given by his Son was also drunk. Daily Motion for the later series with a short intro on a RU-vid video to let us know when a new episode is up.

after the next episode 6x07 'One In One Out', you watch the special 'plum number', then it's on to s07 , unless you want to watch 'the story so far' which is a doc about the show up until this point.

The show has a history of introducing characters and then never seeing them again, like Winston’s grandson in season 1 episode 1 or his daughter and other grandson. There was also the boy with Tam in the episode where he and Winston a vying for the attention of Francis, was never explained who he was to Tam, there are other examples where a family member is in an episode and never seen or heard from again.

Nearly at the end! I think you would REALLY like Father Ted, yeah, "Who's the Daddy", we found Pete the Jakey's faither, but that doesn't work for the story !!

The beefy bake is a real thing you should try if you are ever in the UK, they're really called Steak Bake's and from Greggs which is a chain type bakery, theres probably like 5x the amount of Greggs in the UK than there are McDonalds.

You need to watch “still game , the story so far” before you move onto series 7. But prepare to be disappointed Still game so far can go on RU-vid it won’t get flagged

Yes he had a rich son but that's one of MANY continuity issues with still game. I don't think they were THAT bothered about complete continuity like where did the roof garden go for example? But all in all a great sitcom.

There are tons of continuity errors in this. I think it must be deliberate. Next episode is decent but it has one of the best one liners not just of this sitcom but of any sitcom.
