Eddy, you've got to hear about the lift scene with Isa at 10:30 . Jane McCarry (Isa) is a champ! She did it in one take. They'd finished filming or storyboarding most of the episode and figured out they were 1 minute short of film, so Ford and Greg wrote that scene to fill up the missing minute, they gave it to Jane and she nailed it first time! haha! It sounds like it was a lot of fun to work on the show.
You missed the part where she was handed the line just half hour before and they did so as ford and Greg didn't want to do much as had a hangover/was drunk
Has anyone explained that it's "Whit ye dain oot yer wankin chariots this early?" When wankin chariots = beds. So in English Eddie it's "Gosh chaps, you're up early!" 😂

Tankin' means to be feeling weary and in need of a pick-me-up. Whether that's tobacco or nicotine or a pint or whatever. You can also Take a Tankin' which means you were heavily beaten at something whether that's being beaten up or beaten at FIFA. Or you can Get Tanked, meaning drunk, or Tanked Up meaning the same.
Yeah my Mrs works in tunnocks, she handles the caramel wafers. Also an update coming episode uses the tunnocks factory as Henderson's the bakers but won't give away any spoilers 👍
Good Friday just became Great Friday with this. An excellent episode as usual. Winston is just brilliant. Jack is always funny when he does the mad eyes. My oldest friend I've known for almost 42 years now. I love that scene with Isa in the lift as well. She was only given the script for that bit about half an hour before hand - maybe someone can correct me there. I think they needed to fill a minute or so and she did it in one take! Fantastic. @Eddy Cheese if your thinking of visiting Glasgow & Edinburgh then late July or August is probably the best time for dry warm weather . Lots to see in both cities . In Glasgow as well as the Still Game sights there's lots of attractions . In Edinburgh The Fringe is on with hundreds of street performers , beer gardens etc and there's the Harry Potter locations and of course the castle .
If your just visiting the cities use the train, saves all the hastle and you can have a pint. If you plan going up north you will need a car and more time than you would ever plan for.
Not many people I know have seen Still Game, but everyone I've told to watch it loves it. Another little known comedy that people don't know is 'Early Doors'. It's set in a Manchester pub. It's on BBCi player. That'd be a great comedy to react on if it's not copyright protected by the BBC. If you can't react to it Eddy, please just watch it yourself, you'll piss yesen. Look out for the 2 cops, Phil and Nigel, and the in jokes when they turn their police radios on when they leave the pub, to see if you get the joke.
weatherspoons used to do 3 small plates for a tenner i.e chips/onion rings/garlic mushrooms/wedges etc was in 2 days ago and there up to £17 now prices are crazy!
