We just saw Blue Monday last weekend, and spoke to Henry before the show. Never knew Henry got to play with Lynch (who is my #2 only behind EVH) Man that's awesome
This cover is pure quality... the two guitars, the vocals, and the drummer do a heck of a job...One of the best covers that I have ever seen and heard... My hats off to all the players and singers...
This is an awesome band! The singer nailed it! Plus he's playing guitar too? The drummer is fun to watch. The bass player is in the pocket too. George sounds good too. Great song by Whitesnake. Mad props to the singer in this band.
Crazy hard working band too. The same guys perform as "Blandini" When Jeff is singing, "Vince Neil Band" when Vince is singing, and "Slaughter" when Mark is singing.
F*cking Zoltan! Crazy drummer. I had the pleasure of opening for Slaughter years ago and watched him play from backstage right behind him. His energy is insane!
My frickin' brothers from Central Florida keeping that shit tight & right!! @Jeff Blando and @Zoltan Chaney ... Major props and much love to y'all!! 🤘🎸🤘
Man i had a orgasm hearing George on his solos. This is best version of the song since Whitesnake. Zoltan should be a permanent drummer for George. He is the only drummer who came close to the mighty Tommy Aldridge. Man give us more please. So proud George is still going. Watch out George will still steal your girlfriend. Wow im amazed !!!🎉
The singer in this video is Jeff Blando. He is the lead guitarist for Slaughter. Drummer is Zoltan Chaney. He is also in Slaughter, I believe. Blando can definitely sing and he is also a really good guitarist. I believe he replaced Tim Kelly who was the original guitarist in Slaughter but died in a car wreck. Blando is definitely talented.
That is just crazy off the rails insane. This lifelong Sykes and Lynch fan is blown away. George lit it up like only he can do. Short of seeing John and George on stage together, which would be, AMAZING, this is the bomb. What a great band. All of us Mr. Scary fans really have to be grateful for how many different places, different ways, different great musicians, bands he shows up playing with. Really got to wonder at this point if there has ever been a musician with as much range as George has. He seems to have worked with more people than just about anyone out there, which might be why he just keeps getting better and better. Just when you think you've seen amazing, he takes things 10 levels higher. Wish more bands and musicians did things like Wicked Sensation Reimagined. A stroke of brilliance on a phenomenal album. Major thumbs up to this great band for killing it in every way, the energy level and cranking things so high they all just took it off the charts. Can only imagine what it must have been like standing in the front row like the guy in the baseball hat. Way beyond cool. Just way too cool. Thanks for posting this.
Two of my favourite guitarists ever - agreed would have been insane to see both of them on stage at the same time. My Scary is so versatile, not quite got the chops of a younger Mr Scary but age comes to us all and he's still insane. He's probably my number 1 guitar player from the 80's along with John Sykes a close 2nd (and I'm from the UK). George had a nack of making a solo feel emotional along with fantastic chops/technique, the same for John. Great guitar players full stop.
@@MikeCrazyDayzMikalaneSmithson Dude, gotta disagree on one point, cuz one, yer a brother in arms, two, God bless ya, and three, well, you can thank us later. lol It's just our opinion, but we have been BLOWN AWAY at the things GL has done every year topping the year before it all over yt. It never ceases to amaze us when we stumble onto anything he's done concert wise, guest pop up performances, or new projects, the master just can't settle for the best he can be. And God love em for it. Again, just our opinion, but Wicked Sensation Reimagined was one of the coolest things to come out in the last few years. And like George said in an interview here on yt to anyone fussin about it, it's not like the original went away. lol Which brings up an interesting question. Did EVH redo any of their stuff in a different style? Drawing a blank, maybe he did and we're just forgetting it. Rock on brother! ;)
Best cover of this song I have seen to date! George is laying down the blues like no other bringing the intensity like only he can. Wish I was there to whitness in person.
This is amazing!! That drummer it's mad !!! So powerful.. everybody sounds flawless.. i just love it .. George lynch leaves no prisioners..his versión it's just perfect .. greetings from Acapulco México
Probably the best cover rendition I have seen or heard. John Sykes kills it on the original studio album but this band brings it to life and George Lynch and the singer, also on guitar, kick ass. The drummer and bass player are way more fun to watch than any of Lynch's bands I've seen. He should record and tour with these dudes!
The absolute greatest part of this performance is that all these guys are my age or older! We're all pushing 60 or more!!!! Rockon MF'ers!!!!! Show the kids how it's done!!!!
Awesome rendition of one of my favorite Whitesnake songs. John Sykes really had it going on when they wrote that song. Zoltan drummer is working for a Van Halen tribute band Completely Unchained. He's amazing and very entertaining. I believe he used to be drummer for Vince Neil solo band as well.
The first time I saw Zoltan was over 10 years ago with Vince Neil, at the time I hadn't heard of him yet. Once the show started It didn't take long to realize something very special was going on with Vince's drummer, I've been a fan ever since that night.
What a drummer😮!! He plays Like Tommy Aldridge but with a maniac twist - love it!! And of course Lynch. Awesome cover!! Such a killer tune. One of my all time faves. Long live the 80's 🤘🏾
as if Tommy doesn't play like a maniac. LOL Years ago here in Vegas my cousin and I went to a show and Tommy was playing with an all star band. The Sunset casino was having these rock all stars play in this small fancy room with carpet, fancy tables and the whole works that held less 100 people. We sat at a table just a few feet away from Tommy and they played various songs including Whitesnake songs. Tommy did his solo where he plays with just with his hands without sticks. It was insane. He was playing like he would if there was 50.000 fans. After the show we caught one of the band members and he went back stage and Tommy signed a pair of sticks to give to us. They looked as if a beaver had chewed chunks of wood our of them. LOL We were about to leave and Tommy came out and he grabbed a quick drink at the bar and we thanked him. He was such an awesome friendly down to earth guy. And from what I remember the show was free.
@@SKRooU2 Wow 🤩 what a great story and experience!! Always heard great things about Tommy. A very humble man and a monster drummer - one of the best ever! Thanks for sharing 🙏🏽🤘🏾
It’s so interesting to see and hear and compare so many different cover version of this song and many other great well know songs in how they are interrupted.
I've been a metalhead 24 years... Never been into Dokken or Lynch, till now. He is a very powerfull guitar player indeed. Not the best, not the fastest, not the Greatest. But he sure is amongst them.
I liked your comment even though I AM a metal head for many decades and do think that Lynch is the greatest. Hands down, my favorite. Nobody sounds like him. Not the fastest, not the most technically advanced, but he IS the greatest. 🙂
@@jeffbateman2339 Gun to my bread to pick someone who sounds similar to George, yeah. It's always Warren. Even George himself has said that. But to me, Warren is still a facsimile of George.
George is here 65 go look him up in 84-90 especially 1990 george not only with his own style is very much on top with all of em in 90 it was satch vai nuno lynch
The drummer spanked the drums; the singer sang and played the hell outta himself; the other guys kicked some serious fucking asses as well. 9.8 grade!!!!
This is good, If I had to play after this band I'd make a beeline straight out the back door. Better yet, I'd call out sick.🤒🤢🤮 I'd play before them but you couldn't pay me enough to go on after this band.
