The long-awaited debut of mine and Julians song. Set in the Field of Crosses in Calgary, AB. Julian brings his all to honour those who gave their all and may have physically came home but remained "Still Over There".
I know that feeling. But I’m still over here. I’m military for 32 years and counting. I came in in the first Desert Storm. I have been through over ten tours. Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia Africa, how old is released some parts of Asia no, I keep going I’m fighting for our rights as Americans to do what we want within reason to have our own political inspiration and views I just pray that We can all come together and figure this out if we were all ready to spend a little not break from what we believe is where little flexible we could have a country right now either we could be in a sample of an alarm I pray for peace around the world, and also in our own country God bless you!
I care. My husband and son both served. My husband in Operation desert storm 91, and my son 3 tours in operation enduring freedom. I lost them both to overdoses. They suffered from war. This song is appreciated and beautiful.
My heart goes out to you. Unimaginable to most. I too know of several CAF members who lost their battle back home, following tours in Afghanistan. My brother was killed in Kandahar on Thanksgiving weekend of 2006. Much love and respect to you. 💙
Thank you to all our service members, for the many sacrificesthey make. PTSD is very real and painful. Prayers for Peace on Earth never seem to be enough, but we won't stop trying.
My father fought with his demons from Korea. By the time we grew up he dived into a bottle and finally came out when I was in my 40's. I can't imagine what he went through but I know how badly it colored his life.
I just want to say thank you to Julian again for putting out an amazing song for our first responders and our military families our fellow Canadians, it took a lot of hard work to get this video in a lot of people showed up and when I say, Julian sings any means it just watch the end of this video and you will see his eyes tear up because when he does songs like this, they cover his heart. God bless you Julian you are a wonderful man. Much love Cynthia.
I have served with US service men and women all over the world and have been impressed by American competence, capability and charity. Thank you for your service and your support. Godspeed.
Stood a ramp ceremony in Kandahar as 4 of our brave Canadian brothers were loaded onto an aircraft for their final journey home. Brave warriors! Rest Easy Brothers!
In 2010 I attended 11 ramp ceremonies at Kandahar Airfield for our fallen soldiers. Personally speaking, It was extra tough knowing the horrible journey that lay ahead of their loved ones back home. Lost my brother in Kandahar on October 7th of 2006. We remember, each and every day. Peace, love and respect to all. Lest We Forget 🌺

Great song and tribute to the men and women who served. Dirt-Road Troubadours has a new one too called, "If I Fall" another great tribute to those who fight, fought, and to the families that also serve with them. Keep rocking!!
We must Never Forget those who have gone before us and the sacrifice, and the legacy and gift they have given us 💥🤟💯‼️ We must pass this knowledge on to each generation , so they too can remember and can understand the price of their freedom ‼️
Good tribute. Have not heard Julian sing since I met him through one of his friends that was doing performances in bars/pubs as live netertainment about 25-30 years ago.
I spent 2010 in Kandahar working with our CAF members. A piece of me will always be there. My brother, TPR. MARK WILSON. RCD, was killed on October 7th, 2006. Roto 03-06. Much blood and treasure of our brave soldiers was lost in Afghanistan. LEST WE FORGET 🌺 🍁 Audax et Celer 🍁
Yeah...taking care of those who volunteer to go do the most horrific things imaginable so as to spare the rest of us from that experience and preserve our existence should never be an issue. I'll never forget the folks in the Canadian Navy who gathered up my fellow U.S. Marines and I after the Persian Gulf War. Showed us around Canada. Great clubs there by the way in 91. The first night of liberty we spent on a beach drinking and singing and...well, you know, having fun living lol. Good people those Canadian sailors. Good fun. Good times. Semper Fi ps. As to the song? Well said...very well said.
All vets have things to go To deal with. I will say this the best people I ever worked around in my entire life I'm a lovely Air Force PJ. Australian and British SAS pretty much other than the Polish Graham. Pretty much the entire population best people ever worked around in my entire life
In the cemetery in the British town I live in there are graves from the 1st and 2nd World War. Few are British . Most are Canadian , Austrailian or New Zealand a long way from home . A few days ago I I financially helped a young woman who served as a Royal Engineer Sapper in the 2nd Gulf war and Afghanistan . A pleasant woman who was ashamed to beg . But she was begging . For a room and a shower and some food for the night . I also know of many British military who have suffered mental illness . The Charities are good and I support them . But they only have so much money and there are so many to care for . I know of one special US Army person who occasionally goes back to Afghanistan in his mind . He is alive today because someone cares . So, he has not took his life and he never will now . This is how our Guardian Angel's are treated . Like rubbish . It should not be so .
My grammar, her husband, and her son were all in the Air Force. Two of my 3rd cousins were in the navy. My dad and his mom were in the army so I know everything it true
