Thanks for the advice of the gyro. Driving this transmitter since 1.5 years and had no idea that my one has the gyro function. 😂😂 Works straight away. Will test that the next days. Thanks a lot.
Totally agree💯brother, these transmitters are great for using on multiple cars, that's exactly what i do with the ZD Racing X6F ones, I just buy a heap of receivers so I only have to use one remote 👍 thanks for watching
Since you've had this for a while maybe you can help: a portion of these radios have an issue where they simply just lock up and keep sending the same signal (full throttle and right turn for example) for 1-3 seconds... causing run aways and such. ... it resets and you gain control again. have you had this? if not is there any chance you could open yours and help those of us who have this issue.... it might be that a new revision of the control board has removed this bug OR this is a manufacturing defect due to some bad soldering or something..... detailed shots of both of these might help solve the issue for those of us looking for a solution(so far ive only found ppl talking about the issue no solution yet)
Hello, i have two radios Dumbo RC X6FG + few transmitters. For onroad 1/10 it was really good. But when i enabled gyro with XO-1 i got signal lost also on short distance 1-2x in hour. On Typhon 6S, it was much worse. There transmitter stops completely response approx 6-8times in one hour. I think that gyro is the problem and there is some bottleneck or lack of resource. Batteries was new, second Dumbo RC radio- same problems. I also switcher transmitter and got the same results. I give up using this cheap radio. The time which spending with laborating about weird behavior, cost more than cheapest Futaba :) I borrowed Spectrum DX5pro from my friend and now is not problem anywhere. I think that Dumbo is not suited for hard dirt track with the jumps and hard landings together with enabled gyro. Somehow it can not manage in the long therm. Onroad track, turned gyro off, there was not any signal lost i used like that 3-4months. Strange. But it has no warranty, because of China export....
Hi Dennis sorry you can't bind Dumbo RC to a Flysky as they are differnt brands and use a different protocol. Thanks for watching and have a good day!👍
@@PERTHWESTOZRC I have been wanting to try a gyro setup but wasnt sure if it would help ripping in the yard. I am not a speed run guy. I will order one of these. Thanks for the great explanations of how to set it up and use it. Your videos are super helpful.
Doesn't really matter where you have the receiver, the gyro is just as responsive either way I have found. Also all depends how long your servo and ESC wires are to where you place your receiver. On this truck I had no room except the front. thanks for watching
