We had the opportunity last year to take a couple weeks and send one of our staff up to Alaska to host/guide trips at this amazing destination. The "Rock" as it is called is on Lower Talarik Creek which empties into Lake Illiamna and is right in the thick of the proposed Pebble Mine. The beauty of the area is incomprehensible and the abundance of wildlife is amazing. The fishing doesn't suck either - with every angler pushing for that 30" Rainbow Trout. Many were caught and released up to about 28 inches while we were there and we are heading back this season with some of you to have some more fun!
