That should not be surprising. Years change and so do people who listen to the music. I personally don't like this version. It simply kills the feel of the lyrics. But maybe people who love this don't give a shit about it. It's a nice foot tapping remix and that's all that matters after getting sloshed in a pub.

It's a little anticlimactic to have the the high energy rhythm drop into the regular drabness of the original motif (they could have beefed up the rhythm in that section too).
