I wanted Shrimp with snow peas. So on RU-vid I searched ‘happy wok shrimp peas’. Because I knew I wanted a Happy Wok recipe only and I didn’t know how you would spell snow. Some use sno peas. Anyway, I didn’t find a Happy Wok of Shrimp and Snow Peas, but I did find this one. I just made it, with shrimp, of course. Awesome tasting, AGAIN! You never disappoint me with your recipes. So easy to follow, tastes so freaking good. As I serve my husband, I say, “Another Happy Wok recipe.” He says, “Happy!” LOL because he knows it’s gonna be good. Keep woking, Mr. Happy Maker! 👍🏼😘

This was an incredibly delicious dish, I did however make one slight adjustment, I decreased the cooking time on the scallops to 2.5 - 3 minutes. That was perfect for my particular preference of doneness.
davidnodavid simmer at lowest possible setting, but still boiling in a very slow rate. It depend on stove BTU heat generated. Our electric stove, i have to set it to low. Thanks for asking.
.. confused a bit.. does this not require any salt.. or some ingredient already is salty to take care of the salt requirement... i dont see salt inclusion in lot of these preparations.. please explain..would help a lot
chinese cooking use soy sauce, or oyster sauce or hoisin sauce, salted black bean m shrimps paste, fish sauce intensively . Yes, they are salty and that take care for salt requirements. Thanks for asking.
Stupid question? 4000+ years ago ! a Chinese philosopher , name Confucius said " there is no stupid question, only stupid people, don't ask question" LOL... my Father also said " asking questions, stupid or not, is the way to learn". O.K. to answer your question... rice wine & rice wine vinegar not the same. adding sesame oil, brings that unique oriental taste. thanks for asking question. and thanks for watching.
HAPPY WOK Being critical and asking questions can sometimes be the path to enlightenment. Just look at how many people who just blindly do something or follow something (especially religion) without being critical or asking questions. It's better to ask once too much than failing miserably.
MrQuagmire26 Being critical and asking questions can sometimes be the path to enlightenment. ---yes, i agree ! intelligent people ask question -- that is the best way to learn. Thanks for watching.
true! i sometimes squeeze too strongly with that oil dispenser plastic bottle, instead of coming 2 Tbsp , got 3 Tbsp instead. canola oil or peanut oil are healthy types of cooking oil. anyway, thanks for watching.
