Привет хелиум , ты однозначно победил в этом баттле. Я серьёзно, я был там и до последнего был уверен, что ты заберёшь этот баттл .... я очень удивился и разочаровался когда увидел результат .
What a respectful guy...he leave a comment on every channel so his comment can get likes an mayybee, the one who like could enter on his channel to sub
This is one of those battles where some will disagree with the judges' decision but won't be mad at the outcome. It was just a joy to watch and listen to history.
I wasn't there, but based on the video I agree with you 100%. I think Helium should've won, but I'm not mad that Inertia won at all. I'm just thankful to be able to enjoy this great battle.
The unstoppable force Vs the immovable object haha. Two alphas just upping each other. It was OT for me, Man. SBX is ridiculous for not allowing OT. Helium had better fundamentals and technicality while Inertia had better accessibility for the average ear. I think the reason people connect so much to Inertia's beats is because of the simple and groovy structure. Like Codfish back in the day but Helium is pretty much guaranteed to win GBB at some point in the future.
Watching it on the livestream I also thought Helium took it. From watching his videos I knew he had much more than what he showed on his elimination, but I wasn't expecting him to do that. The day prior we had just witnessed one of the best eliminations in history from Inertia, I had this feeling that he was the man to beat in this event, but Helium came in and absolutely DESTROYED it. Can't get mad at the decision tho, King Inertia was truly one of the highlights of the event, it felt like everyone was eagerly waiting for him to come up on stage and kill it. Mad props to both, this was historic. Thanks for the reaction, it was amazing losing my mind with you while listening to this insanity 😂😂
Agree, imo Helium takes it especially after watching the produced version. I think the judges just couldn't resist Inertia's inward bass 😂. Not that I blame them, it's sounds super full
Helium should have won He should have won not only did he top inertia's rounds, he also sent that powerful counter on the second Inertia is top tier, but Helium just topped him I love dubstep and Inertia surely has that gift to make the best sounds out the genre, but damn, Helium's bass texture....it's like a dolphin continuously diving perfect rhythm
For me it was obvious that Inertia is going to lose in further rounds. He's been doing the same inward bass for a couple of years. At some point it gets boring, from doing it over and over again. I believe if Helium went through he would've had much more to show than Inertia. Imagine his battle with Alem, two fastest beatboxers and the most technical ones.
Tbh I don't know anything about King Inertia but seems like everybody has the one sound that they do again and again. Napom has his classic Liproll which he still hasnt changed and his battle against Zekka was basically all his old routines taken one step forward. Nothing too new, just a bit more refined. Codfish is another, whose music while as crazy as it sounded back then, it's evident that he will bring up the throat bass and Dlow will hit the inward bass at same point. But I might agree KI seemed like the same thing twice even though second round was a bit more technical and different than just putting out the low bass notes.
I think the reason why helium might have lost was the transition from the counter to his own beat in round 2. It was a drop with no build up and went straight into said drop without a proper build up or smooth transition.
Personally I feel the reason Inertia won was because he used two routines people have known about for years but it captured the energy the whole time on each round, I see now how it could have went towards Helium and I feel it would have if that counter would’ve lasted longer than 10 seconds plus I give massive props to inertia being able to keep his inward and vibration consistent throughout the entire set and being the first to implement vibration on a GBB stage in a battle
Yeah, Helium's counter was insane. But why are there only a few people talking about Helium's first round? It's literally one of the best if not the best DnB beatbox of all time.
Yes watching it again and again helium wins but inertia live alot more hype, alot more powerful. Even in the livestreams inertia took the majority vote live. Watching it live/for the first time is alot different to more than once
this was the best battle of gbb 2021... no one focused on counters but Helium did.. Helium's counter to Inertia was the best and Helium would have been won if he had continued that counter for a little longer.. No doubt, Helium is the cleanest beatboxer and has the best snare in the world !! I wish he had continued the counter, sure win !!
Man... Helium won for me, but omg King Inertia has insane routines that work 1000% more on stage, i see why inertia won but im so glad to see this battle, this was INSANE!!
I was behind you in the crowd, so we got a similar audio experience, and I definitely thought that Helium won too, but Inertia's high pitch sound live was definitely the most amazing sound I've ever heard.
I 100% agree with you, even though I was there live aswell. Yes, Inertia's last 30seconds were dope as hell but Helium just had way better consistancy & showed actual battle moves with his counter inward bass that got the whole crowd suprised!!! In my opinion it should've been a 3-2 for Helium. But I understand that it could've gone either way. To bad tho!
I think Helium won first round, and even if second one was closer, the counter with his own inward bass which is King's Inertia's biggest weapon, it has more value than the rest of the battle, he showed that he could play all games and win them all. Hope we'll see him again next year! Maybe with less pressure and more relaxed
In my opinion Helium should drop the line "Inertia vs King Helium" right after the switch and then start with the counter inward bass .... that woould be so fucking legendary
LMAOOOO, the judges are not allowed to give overtime. thats the rule. reeps one overtime vote didnt count. judges didnt f anything, know the rules b4 u say anything xD
I remember seeing a video of helium i was like wow he's one to keep an eye on he's insane. Man he was so good but i also loved intertia just as much i couldn't choose between them. They both blew my mind.
This battle definitely shows that Helium is a beast of his art, when watching the video I also think that Helium won for me. Don't get me wrong, though honestly this could have definitely gone to either ways. Respects to both artists
I think if this round had happened later, as a quarter-final or semi-final, when everyone started to get fatigued of Inertia's style, Helium would have won. But this was the first time the crowd heard Inertia knowing what to expect, really ready to rock out to it, and the crowd control alone I think got him the win. The way he toyed with the mosh pit, delaying on them so when it dropped, it'd hit even harder... that was just _genius_ and for me was the stand-out moment of the entire GBB!
Merry Christmas Stitchy! Thank you for your amazing content, discovering your channel really made my year better ❤️ As for the battle, although I don't vibe with Inertia's style and prefer Helium, I have to disagree 😅 imo in terms of consistency Inertia was way better, and you must've stood a little more to the side or sth bc for me, who was standing right in the middle, it was impossible to hear it all clearly through the screams of the crowd (thank god it's tuned down in the video!). You should see the recordings from that battle (fe shorts from eribox) - gives you a close image of how the stage sound was d r o w n e d out by ppl screaming in your ears. Also, when you're battling a king, there must be no slip-ups, and the "draggy part" ended Helium's second round for me. It was a close one still, but it was obvious who would win. Anyway, I'm looking forward to watching this battle all over again, and your reaction was priceless. Hope there was someone to catch you when the drops were too good!! 😆🥰
Now 2 years later they came together in “bass brothers” at gbb 2023 and may be scariest tag team together on freestyle routine Also bro my favorite reaction of yours !! 😂❤ beatbox won 🏆 this day I know so many causal ppl talking about this battle so good for the community
I love Inertia, and I love the routines. But we’ve heard the same routines 1000 times. I do however like these variations but with heliums battle moves I feel like he clearly won
I also felt like that Helium won, but I can understand why Inertia got the w. Inertia had more hype because he was 1st in the elims and everybody wanted to see him. The problem is the same as with vocodah, because Inertia did like 5 sounds in total. That's why he lost against footbox for example, because he said like "yo, can you do something other than inward bass" or something like that. He can obviously do more than only inward bass and spit snare, but he didnt really do it and his musicality is not on (for example) codfish level. If Inertia went first he would've easily lost in my oppinion, because he didn't do inward bass after Heliums counter, even though that was were the hype came from until this point. As well, as you already said kinda, the high sounds of inertia weren't pleasing for the sound system. One major Problem of Inertia in this whole event was his repetition and his timing sometimes. In the elimination the timing misstakes weren't easy to hear since everybody was hyped and it didn't really care in this moment. In this battle tho he had like 3 or 4 big timing issues, after he transitioned from his high sounds i believe (its hard to write this from scratch rn because I dont remember every detail rn, but it was in inertias 2nd round and the issues were all in the same 20 or so seconds). One thing that helped Helium out a lot was that he held back in the elims but that everybody knows that he's a beast and everybody was hyped. That's ehy the crowd was on Heliums side, especially in the first round. Because he saved all of his stuff, he wasn't repetitive at all because of this and he highlighted that, while he told with his gesture, that Inertia repeated himself in his sounds. I felt like that the whole time already because I realized, that I didn't want to watch Inertias elim over and over again, which wasn't the case for Helium because he did a flawless and clean elim. Even though it was not the best and not the flashiest elim obviously, in a retroperspective from my pov, I could watch Heliums elim more often than I could watch Inertias, without being bored. Some elims I can watch over and over again is for example d-koy, River, Den, Stitch, Footbox and some more, but I don't want to list everyone now xD. I think it's understandable what I mean. Everybody was waiting for Helium to pop off and that's exactly what happenend here. The only problem was, that Inertia had more hype because of his elim and appearance overall and because he was louder on stage, which lead to an advantage when it comes to the impact on the crowd. So in conclusion Inertia made it a bit easier for himself and was pleasing the crowd with it, not with his high sounds unfortunately. And Helium as well countered Inertia and got the crowd hyped up like hell. Thats my detailed oppinion about the battle right here, I hope somebody reads it and cares and I didn't waste my time lmao
Not gonna lie, I was gonna skip this comment for how long it was but I read it just cuz you said to at the end. And in my opinion I agree with you, we all can agree if inertia went first or if there was another or if he went against helium in quarter finals, helium would’ve won easily because his style is when you hear repeatedly it’s get boring (unlike codfish).
I also think Helium should have won, but I respect the judge's opinions, n am happy with inertia winning too. With the context to the time of the battle, inertia's first battle after that amazing elim, so his inward and vibration was pure hype. But honestly after gbb, hearing his amazing bass so many times, it just doesnt impress me as much as helium's diverse skillset. But nonetheless, a battle for the ages, it will go down in GBB history as one of the best. Also I think future battles against helium would have been much more cool, since he can adapt very well because of his wide skillset. Inertia is great, but his style tends to get a little repetitive the further we go with the battles.
Dlow said in his reaction that He changed his desicioun in the last 2 seconds BRUH IT WOULD BE A OT, with a third round this would be the best battle of that universe
I don't beatbox and never tried but I really enjoy good music, so take this opinion like an outsider... I think Helium was way more interesting to listen to, looking forward to see what he can do in the future!
Seeing everyone voting for helium and just wanna say I wouldve voted Inertia take it. The way he shut down helium's second round with "helium, don't fuck with me" was really good for me. Also helium saying inertia repeats kinda backfired for me as well. Also, I wouldn't have noticed inertia 1st round dragging if helium didn't point it out. So points to him for that
