Loved to see this stitch with me and get a life update. So glad your little girls are getting back to normal. I’m also stitching Welcome Christmas (because you enabled me! 😂). First time stitching on linen. First time using silks. Decided to stitch those stockings 1 over 1. By the time I caught my counting error there was no way I was going to rip all that 1 over 1 out, so I fudged it. I was encouraged to do that because I remember the Flosstube you did when you had made an error on the Roses of Provence and you were devastated but someone encouraged you to fudge it and continue. Well, no one will know my piece has been fudged unless they have studied the chart! Thank you for all of your encouragement and for sharing your life and love of stitching with us! 😊
In America too, we are feeling the loss of Queen Elizabeth. 👸 I hope she knows how much she is loved. I can't imagine having to grieve so publicly. When the grandchildren stood by her coffin, I was grieving too.
Hi from SA. My grand dad was from the UK, so our family are all very fond of and listen to everything about the Royal Family. The Queen's funeral was so touching and a wonderful tribute to an amazing woman. Yes, watching the family have to contain their own personal grief at all the state events was so hard to watch. I could see their pain reflected in their eyes. Always enjoy your videos, thanks for all you share and a puppy hug to your two girls.
Thank you for your videos. I have the same problems with my pets as they require much of my time. I work samplers and alphabets. Have a good stitching week
Lovely video. The Queen's passing has really affected this American (of English/Scottish/German heritage). She was a great lady and watching the support of her nation and the world brings tears to my eyes, even as I write this. She was the constant link to the past and I am saddened for the family and the world. The voice of reason is gone. I pray for the King, UK, and the world. God bless.
These are my sentiments exactly. I woke up at 5am my time Monday to watch the coverage on BBC America all day. Eternal rest grant her, O Lord. 🙏🏻 And Teresa, I hope you have a lovely, happy birthday Friday with all the stitchy time you want! 🎉
Gosh such fine stitching. It is lovely but it would be impossible for me to do this fine on a train. I need a magnifying light a stand for my pattern and better suspension on the ride. You are amazing. Thanks for a great morning.
Always enjoy sitting and stitching with you. It is so nice listening to your stories. The Queen was an amazing Woman. May she Rest in Peace with her dear Philip. Have a very Happy Birthday Teresa. Take Care ❤
I heard you say that you'd better get yourself ready for work? Ah, how can you feel like stitching after getting up so early. I could never do that when I have to get out of bed so early. We all have to drive ourselves to work, no nice tube trains to relax and do our stitching in or catch a nap. I could get used to THAT. If I was still working, that would be the way to go. You're so lucky.
i'm not sure i'm lucky... I commute 4 hours a day and it is usually standing room only and like a sardine can lol - give me a car and my own personal space anyday! But I have to pay those bills lol
I hope you had a lovely birthday. I too was on retreat in Solihull last week. But I’m very much selfish and just want to stitch as long and as much as possible while away. I still chat of course but sometimes I prefer to listen to the chatter going on around me 😀😊
Yes a lovely video, thank you for sharing and your time. Happy Birthday 💐🎂 for this weekend. Looking forward to seeing your next video. Happy stitching.
Hi Teresa, so nice to see you. I think you may have enabled me. The Welcome Christmas is stunning!!! 💛💛💛 our temperature today in Ohio was 96°F. Tomorrow's high is supposed to be 67°F. I'm ready for some cooler weather. I've always been a hot weather person always outside, and the older I get the more I'm over it. I think my " old age" is showing. 😊 Stay Safe. Stay Healthy. Happy Stitching. ❤❤❤❤
I sat this morning and stitched to this before I went to work. Had a very rough day yesterday and this was a perfect following morning! Always love the stitching videos from you! Glad the girls are doing good! Thanks for the video!!
Your stitching is absolutely beautiful, Teresa. Can I assume your doing 1 over 1? I've never done that but the coverage looks fantastic. I'm always afraid the piece is going to look awful. I'll give it a go and hope that it turns out like yours! I could use a retreat myself, except in the entire province of Manitoba, I really don't think there ARE any stitchers. Quite a lonely field out here, it is. So glad to hear you are doing so well with your healing process. I was always confident it would be. You're that type of person who isn't going to let anything stop you! Please take care and the girls too. Hugs from Canada!!
Hi Teresa, Was happy to find your video today. My condolences to you on the passing of Queen Elizabeth. I must say when I heard you say you work close by Buckingham Palace my heart did flutter. To visit England has been on my “bucket list” for a long time. Your stitching is beautiful. Hope you have a wonderful birthday and will be looking forward to your next video.
So glad to hear the girls are better & back to their romping selves again. ❤ Love your Christmas project! Hope you have a wonderful birthday doing whatever it is you want to do & nothing more. Take care.😊
It's good to see you again so soon Teresa! Live or not, I always enjoy your stitce-with-me videos. I love this piece! I hope you have a very very Happy Birthday on friday!!!!!
Great stitching, after the stockings I found it super quick the tree is lovely just a session beading at the end I’m sure you will get it done on the train in a week! So maybe a birthday new start 😉 have a happy birthday 😘
Happy belated birthday! My birthday was Saturday, and I always take a few days off around my birthday to chill and enjoy it. It’s such a good time of year to slow down a bit. Happy stitching! 🧵🪡
Hi Teresa , your stitching looks nice. Monday was a tough day. I miss QEII. IDK why, I just thought that she’d always be here with us. RIP. It’s still warm here. I live south of where Prince Harry lives. Happy Birthday!
Always love to hear your life updates. So glad the girls are on the mend. Happy Birthday to you. Wishing you the most wonderful day!! Can't wait for your monthly update.
The loss of the Queen is felt deeply here too!!! So sorry! I’m think you’re stitching is upside down. I’m hoping I’m wrong!!! Your stitching is absolutely gorgeous!!! ❤
Thanks for the video Theresa, perfect whilst I’m stitching in the car waiting for my son to finish drama class! Great to hear an update on the girls and really interesting to hear about the crowd control in London 🙂
So glad to see you. I thought about you when I heard of the Queens passing and wondered how your commute to London would go, so it was good to hear your update. Wishing you a very relaxing and happy birthday. Looking forward to your next video.
Hi Teresa! Good to see you. I hope you have a wonderful birthday. I was sorry to hear about the Queen's passing. She seemed like a good soul. I started my first full coverage this week. I've only done one grid and it's intense but I do like it. Glad to hear the girls are better. I've been thinking about them. I purchased a new Halloween pattern...Something Wicked by LA-D-DA and although it's done on 35 ct linen, I'm going to do it on 16 ct aida. I was afraid of the 16 ct, but after seeing the fabric, it doesn't really look harder than 14 ct. See you soon and have a nice week.
Teresa, your 1x1 stitching is so neat and tidy. Mine looks like I stitched drunk. Wishing you the happiest of birthday’s! Now I know why I want to stitch the majority of projects that you stitch. I’m a September girl too.
It's so lovely to see you and share some stitching time with you. I love your project. I'm so glad your girls are better. I hope you have a lovely birthday.
I've always wanted to do that chart, but then did the Cricket Collection Winter and thought they were a little similar. I'll probably get this one in the future. 😊
Hi Teresa! Nice to hear the update. Happy Birthday 💖 My daughter's puppy is 2 and still so active! Especially when I visit! Which is everyday. You'd think she hadn't seen me for a week 🤣 It's going to get cooler here in Northeast Pennsylvania starting tomorrow. It's been very warm. Your Christmas project is pretty. I love the colors. Thank you for the stitch-a-long and have a nice week ♡
When we first moved back to the States from Germany, we moved to an area of Texas that has a lot of khaki burs - basically, a plant seed that is hard and spiked and can pop bicycle tires. Anyway, my mini Schnauzer was born and raised in Germany and had soft foot pads because the ground is always soft and wet there. Poor girl couldn't even walk on the grass at first because of those burs. We found better areas for her to walk on until she build up enough callus on her foot pad to walk anywhere.
Lol yes I confess I didn’t notice until someone pointed it out lol 😂 oh the joy of tech, but lucky it is just camera trick and not that I’m actually stitching it the wrong way round 😆
My condolences on the passing of your Queen. It is good to see you. I am intrigued by the set up of your fabric on the right hand side of your hand. It is folded back and pinned with a needle. It looks like it forms a good guideline of the vertical border of stitching area of pattern. Your thoughts on this please.
Hello Sharon, I would love to tell you there is a reason for this however there is not. I have just folded the fabric back so there is nothing hanging and then the needle is just one I always put on my train project as a spare in case I lose the one i'm using 😊
Your stitching is so beautiful! May I ask what size and brand of needle you use? Thank you for sharing today. I cant imagine the number of people that bombarded London and the surrounding area. HAPPY EARLY BIRTHDAY!
Hi Jamie, well it depends on what size fabric i'm using, but I do prefer a short needle so I tend to go with the Bohin needles in size 26 & 28 if your in the UK lakeside needlecrafts do them for a good price - www.lakesideneedlecraft.co.uk/bohin-cross-stitchtapestry-needles---size-26-27416-p.asp
@@TeresaLittleStitcher I'll have to look into that brand. Thank you for your response. I haven't tried anything other than aida yet. I'm stitching my HAED on 20ct 1x1 with a size 28 at the moment :)
I hate to ask this, but are you stitching the stockings upside down??? I sure hope not. I'm glad you watched from safety of your home, was very sad day.
My girls are the pooches, Lolly is the daughter - I can see how it is confusing lol - pleased to say i'm old enough to be a nanny now Lolly is 24, I can't imagine small people living under my roof now lol
Hi - I am confused looking at your stitching. Beautiful work by the way! I can see the socks are the O from the pattern; is the star to replace the Tree M? Or am I completely off? Is your C backwards? Forgive me if I am talking rubbish - I am new to pattern x-stitching
Is possible the video image is backward. Teresa stitches with her left hand above the fabric and her right below. The edge of the fabric is probably showing because she’s folded it over so the stitching will fit on her scroll frame. Then again, I may be completely wrong. Just a guess.
Um, is it just me or does it look like the stockings are upside down because the opening for the C is on the left instead of the right when you're stitching this which could mean you would have to flip it 180 degrees?? Is it just me?
Oops, the other more involved videos, are too fussy, hard to relate, just my observation. I was born in England, raised in the US. May her Majesty Rest In Peace.
Theresa I love to watch you stitch, but it is so difficult to watch you do your 1 over 1 stocking upside-down on your pattern!!! The frog has jumped your way.
lol no just the camera flipped the the stitching on the video. I love how so many of you have spotted this but I didn't notice the whole time I was editing lol
