STMY Couriers and Concerns: Bumps in the Night 

When Gordon says “It’s time we take matters into our own buffers,” you know things start to get real. I’m hyped for the next part.

Gordon could have been a bit more diplomatic when talking to Norman Spencer, but he has a point: desperate times call for desperate measures.

When I first saw the trailer, I wasn't sure what to think of Norman Spencer. But as the episodes progressed, and we got to the Gordon/Norman Spencer confrontation, I feel bad for him. He's trying so hard, yet the engines outside of Thomas, Percy, Toby and possibly Daisy, Mavis and Lily, don't fully trust him.

The plot continues to thicken, and we’re getting closer to the home stretch. Next week will be interesting indeed. >:3 Thanks again for letting me voice Fred again in this. It was an honor. I hope to come back as him again soon. :D

When the first trailer for Couriers and concerns was released, I wasn’t sure about Norman Spencer at first, but after reading your tweets about him as well as in the comments for the trailer as well the second one, I truly hoped and believed that he was a changed man. As the plot unfolds, I am glad to see that I was right, but it’s sad to see the mainline engines, especially Gordon, are not giving him a chance. Hopefully the final part will change that.

WildNorWester writes stories that are 1000x better than what the actual show produces today. These types of stories are for the generation that grew up with Thomas in the mid 1980s to late 1990s. This is what we expect Thomas and Friends to be like. Though it may be more mature thinking themes, the basis for simple story telling and life lessons are there. WildNorWester, keep this up! I will forever love your work.

Well this certainly took quite a turn. From the last shot in the previous episode I almost thought 006 was up to no good again. It will be interesting to see exactly who is behind all of this. For the most part Norman Spencer is certainly doing his best by having his own vans investigated. Now it will ultimately boil down to who despises Norman Spencer or the railway enough to do this? Indeed it could jeopardise the railways reputation but on the other hand it wouldn't be unreasonable for someones main goal to collapse NWPE. It is also possible its simply a petty thief who's well aware of more expensive items they can easily resell. So far this has done a great job of keeping us on the edge of our seats. Let's hope the conclusion itself is just as exciting. Look forward to next week!

Brilliant work yet again WildNorWester. I am really enjoying these stories and how the plot is thickening. I particularly admire your use of material from stories and character relations from past stories, as it really helps with both continuity, the stories’ flow and character development. it's only after re-watching this I realized something: At 13:46, when Norman Spencer says ''Gordon, this seems to be an internal NWPE matter'' He meant to say the thief was from within the company, whereas Gordon understood it as corporate speak for ''we aren't going to tell you.'' I see your subtle foreshadowing with his conversation with Duck, you clever guy, WildNorwester!

I wanted to remark on the trailer that I loved the Monty Python reference here. I'm in lieu of watching the episode now. Hanging on the edge of my seat.

That was amazing. Brilliant use of Gordon, James and Henry's line "Disgraceful, Disgusting, Despicable" and then using cinders and ashes as almost a swear. Loved it, loved it loved it.

"Oliver's breakvan?" "_Douglas'_ breakvan!" I think I may have a clue on what's going on...but I won't say anything in case I'm wrong. This is getting dire now!

Very good. I like this part layers over multiple lines of the island, progressing on from that montage in the last part :) There is one element I'm a little hesitant about, that being the culprit of the missing packages. Given that a NWPE worker was fired in the last installment, I'm getting the feeling through the gathered evidence here that it's most likely *him*. This also happened in a STEY episode before. Not saying a potential retread of material is bad, but I do hope there's some sort of twist coming up in the next part :)

I came back to this channel to rewatch the enitre saga during the school year and, Wow, damm. These stories are written very well. Thank you for this, even if it is old. I still can’t wait to rewatch it.

Ms. Betty Teal... Are you sure it wasn't a _Mrs._ Betty Teal? Sounds like something from the Blackmail sketch from _Monty Python's Flying Circus._ ;) Good to see Fred and Toad being given roles in this episode, however minor they may be... Could it be that the NWPE has been infiltrated by a master criminal? Snidely Whiplash? The Grinch? One of Doctor Claw's M.A.D. Agents? And just what were in those packages? They don't sound like any random thefts. Must be worth either millions of dollars or high governmental significance. Either a piece of art or a weapon.

Great stuff! Like many, I'm looking forward to the final episode in this story, and hope you have more ideas for stories for STMY!

Y'know...it wouldn't shock me if it wasn't a thief at all and the NW Package Express just misplaced them all. Given that they went weeks (or however long they've been running) and they didn't realize something as big as *one of their post vans* was missing. I think Mr. Spencer may need to shake up his staff after that little gaff.

Nearly at the final part. Hopefully, Norman can fully redeem himself and stop the thefts.

Like your Series so far and for the electric Branch line you might need to look at some new British multiple units like a class 710 or 345 to which you can actually put a face on the front Steve has a partner for passenger duities

At first I thought this was revenge by the sacked worker but now I think the company is in cahoots. That Jenkins character might be dodgy and regarding Spencer's reputation with the railway they are probably gambling on him taking the damage as he is a businessman that may not recover if it damages his reputation.
