When a mail van makes trouble on the Ffarquhar Branch, Percy starts asking questions. Thomas and Friends copyright Hit Entertainment. No profit is being made from this video.
This is a great episode, just one thing. I noticed that at 10:12 the screen went black. Was that an accident? I apologise if I sound rude, I am a film student and I am in an editing class so I am trained to spot mistakes like that.
That wasn't supposed to happen. Vegas has been playing up like that for me recently. It's the same clip that comes on afterwards. Too much to expect the software to do its job, I suppose.
@@WildNorWester lol yeah I know the feeling. It doesn't really hurt the video. I just notice these things more. I look forward to seeing where this series goes in the future.
Blue Smoke Productions thanks for bringing that to my attention. I think I've sorted it out. Seems to have been caused by having hardware accelerated rendering turned on in Vegas Movie Studio. Similar to the hardware accelerated texture compression error in Trainz 2010.
Many's a railway felt the cracking whip of change whether they wanted it or not. This really was a fascinating look at railway practices of days gone by and how old practices could still hold their own in today's world if the circumstances allowed it. I especially enjoy this series for constantly moving with time. Definitely a triumphant return!
I really do respect this video. I've noticed over time, that whenever i'm sick and need something to think about other than my headache, or if I've seen something disturbing on accident and need to calm down (usually the former, thankfully) I always find myself coming back to this video. Somehow, this little story about a disagreeable van secretly concerned for his brothers well-being manages to draw me back time and time again, and I appreciate that. Good work, and to anyone who reads this, have a nice day!
What a great day I had! I completed my childhood video game 100%, had Chicken Fingers for lunch because I didn’t get to have any chicken on Thanksgiving, and now you are back to uploading weekly! Keep up the good work! I am loving it!
Thank you, your timing for posting this was amazing I had been having a rather stressful evening coming home to find this on my feed helped me relax again. My son (14 months) also enjoys watching these with me, so much so that it inspired me to get TANE and have him sit on my lap sometimes so he can play (last night he figured out which key blows the whistle)
This was a really nice episode, the quality was absolutely splendid, i didn't expect Norman Spencer to be coming back though. He better not be causing confusion and delay again!
It's good to see another well written story from you. I thought the exchanges between jason and the branch line engines and coaches was very well thought out. Loved the innovation with that. You've always had a knack for creating stories like this. Honestly, I think Wilbert and Christopher would be proud :)
Story spoilers. Please don’t click read more unless you’ve seen the episode. I know Percy is the character that is most associated with mail, but in my mind, Thomas would make more sense because he’s lost all his brothers and/or sisters, just as Jason is worried the same is going to happen to him. Having said that, great work as usual.
I love this new start to the mini-series!!!!!!!! Once again you have amazing work brought in to show us!!!!!!! It's going to get interesting with Norman Spencer back on Sodor, along with another new company that connects Sodor together!!!!!! The way you used green mail vans is very clever!!!!!
A good start to this mini series, Jason who is upset that his remaining brothers might be in danger finds them as part of a new mail run and all is/was right once more until Norman Spencer showed his ugly face to the railroad as the director of the Mail service. With him in charge, i look forward to the next episode to see what he is up to and the amount of confusion he is about or will cause to the railway...
As a treat, I even went back and watched the two previous episodes that involve the mail service, all to get ready for this episode. I have to say, I loved how you incorporated the foreshadow in episode 23, Percy's Post that resulted in the trilogy with the hopper cars and to this episode. Very cleaver.
I've been rewatching a few episodes with Lily in substantial roles and I've noticed Lily's biggest character flaw. Her grudge against Henry, her lamenting about not seeing her friends again... she's having trouble letting go of the past. Poor thing has some serious trauma...
@@WildNorWester You said it. The Great Depression lived up to it's name. As far as we're aware, of the pre-grouping fleet, only Neil and Lily were spared. Emily lasted for a while, but wasn't seen or heard from since WW2.
I think the new models for the human characters are a really good addition compared to the old ones and I really want to see what happens with Normal spencer in the next couple of episodes. I also really like the twist of having Norman spencer being related a person who caused Adam and Colin to be scrapped.
Finally! This is gonna be great!!! Keep up the good work! We all love it! And if having this not be that often means getting some high quality vids like this, then I'm game! Keep it up!!!
I noticed that you closed your site, I am sorry you were forced to do so. You are an amazing modeler. I am appalled by how some Thomas "fans" behave. Hope you are well.
15:13 Thomas The Tank Engine: What in the name of Beaching are you doing here? Me: Thomas has a point, no offense, but you're supposed to be in Copenhagen.
at 10:12, I had a brief "oh my god my computer just crashed" heart attack. Thankfully, it was just an editing mistake (which I learned of upon scrolling down to the comment section.) Anyway, great episode!
If Annie is a sentient vehicle (or semi-sentient, considering she can’t move on her own), wouldn’t it hurt if someone spilled their coffee on her seat?
Hey Wildnorwester, its good to see you back on RU-vid. Could you give me some advice please? I know you make your own models, you see i'm thinking of making an original railway series on my channel with my own original characters. How do you make models for Trainz a new era?
Dylan Duckty for someone who hasn’t found time to see “winds of change “ and possibly All of Dan’s work since the beginning, here’s your sum up: Previously an advocate of modernization, later outnumbered, resigned and now a former BriDanish (British immigrant in Denmark)
Please could we have authentic sounds for the class 47 and daisy and it doesn't look good when trains pass signals at danger other than that I enjoy your series very much.
+WildNorWester Umderstandable. I'm Aussie too but I ended up picking up Ringo Starr's accent, a Brooklyn accent and 1980's ABC Australian so I sound... odd. Darn children's programming!
Any thoughts about this rubish new kid friendly rule in RU-vid? Will you be migrating to a different platform, or is it the end of an era? Haven't heard from you in a very long time. Thoughts?
So far so good. Never would have guessed that Norman Spencer's Grandfather worked for the railway, or was responsible for The Victorian engine's demise.
