Naturally aspirated Citroen C1 with standard air box vs no air filter/open throttle body with acceleration comparison before and after. Effectively the most free flowing best cone air filter in the world, just without the filter part.

A few years down the the track but this was never going to work. You removed the airbox which although probably restrictive did supply COLD air under some pressure to the engine. With the airbox off the only air the engine was getting was the warm stuff floating around the back of the engine bay and that air was at lower pressure than with the airbox. For comparison you should have just yanked out the air filter.
I'm think first 😂😂😂😂😂 and then serious if you did put a proper cold air induction kit on taken from the coldest part you can find ,along with the green injectors then if you done a exhaust cat back system with a remap then you would notice bigger power and torque 👍👍
How about original airbox and free flow filter? I'm desperate for just a lil more poke out this car or I'm scrapping the sh*#ter lmao cheap to run should not be the only positive of a car lol
The open air filter didn’t seem to help at all so I don’t think a panel filter would. The ram air intake I made in a previous video did help by a surprising amount, but was completely impractical. The Yaris injectors also made a bit of difference, but the biggest difference I’ve found was when I took the seats out and the doors off lol

@@StupidBlokeStupidVideos no but i tried everthing if you jus open air filter on cold air i ntake you are in+ only after 5000 rpm before you luse speed of air and on low rpm you luse this setup with holes is the best for me
If comparing to other c1, this is an early 3 door very basic spec so about as light as they come from the factory. Got a bike exhaust fitted as a back box but I’m sceptical to if that makes any difference, and I’ve got Yaris T-sport injectors which do seem to make a noticeable however not huge difference.
I have the Yaris with this engine hence I watch alll the vids but to be honest the car is just too reliable and boring. I want small stuff to go wrong that I can tinker with and I also want a bit of power. I am therefore looking at getting rid of the Yaris and doing the unthinkable and crazy - getting a cheap A4 TDI B6 ( early 2000s ). I figured it will keep me busy on weekends with hopefully cheap things to fix and it costs about half of what my Yaris is worth so I will have some spare cash to play around with for repairs. I swear my Yaris refuses to break lol so I end up looking for things to mess around with and it seems like you are doing the same - messing with unnecessary stuff. I have taken out injectors, oxygen sensor etc already but that only kept me busy for a little while. Anyway greetings from South Africa
@@StupidBlokeStupidVideos am a big fan of the 1kr fe but just that it's slow from take off but know it's got a lot of potential just like a 2jz does even stock. Only not many people try so hope you make a video on the attempt to turbo it
@@saddammalima8458 I would love to go that far one day, just for the experiment really. I make most of my mod videos during my dinner hour at work though, so would take a while to get it done doing bits here and there if I did take it on.
