@@StupidBlokeStupidVideos yeh I watched the second video I take it back 🤣🤣 just done the 8 quid reversing sensors, keep up the videos very entertaining 👍🤣
The 2.0L Toyota celica injectors work as well but you need to map them in. Ram air intake, polished and ported head, sportex exhaust and 2.0 litre injectors, currently running 115bhp and weighs in at 568kg
@@StupidBlokeStupidVideos yes, tuned an dynod at mana performance it is pushing it a lot so keep that in mind, it like to murder the exhaust valves quite a bit
@@alexashurst512 that’s some going. Didn’t even know that kind of power had been done N/A on these. What does it rev to? What torque is it making and where in the rev range is peak power?
@@StupidBlokeStupidVideos revs to just below 8k, peak power is at 6900, the torque is 152NM not an extravagant improvement if you think about it lightly but when combined with such a low weight it rlly is a blast on A and B roads
I'm impressed it does 70 in 2nd. I haven't driven a car that does that in a while. My current car will just tip 60 but it's a diesel so that's pushing it
Yea almost 70 in second. It’s long geared for a 1.0. Gets to about 35 in 1st, 65 second and 90 in third! That’s the same ratios as my old Volvo V70 T5!
@@StupidBlokeStupidVideos my mum's old 106 was the same very long 2nd. My current is a 6 speed too. Not sure how I managed it... one day I was racing someone and hit such a nice boost curve I was doing 110 in 4th 😂 suddenly realised.. then 5th only goes up to 125. 6th will do me good for 140 bit it whines like a bitch so I don't push it that hard that often any more. I used to daily to work at 130mph for 3 years straight. Absolute tank 😆😆

Sorry to go off at a tangent but what's with that air filter? Have you added an extra flat pad of filter material or is this just a brand I've never seen? Cheers
Yea it’s unusual for them to have that but it’s just part of the filter. Different manufacturers sometimes change them slightly, but I can’t remember what make it is though.
I had already cleaned the old injectors previously. I show the process in more detail too in this video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-LXz0aCp4zOA.html I’m actually currently doing some more in-depth comparisons of the standard vs Yaris injectors for a future video too.
Definitely yes. I only drove it for about 10 miles after fitting them before making the video, but I’ve driven it a bit more now and it’s not massive but a definite noticeable difference. It’s also smoother. I’m surprised to be honest.
Overtake? You mean 'keep up' surely? I'm not even sure why these roller skates need/have mirrors? By the time you look at whatever's behind you, it's already in front.
@@sally6457 not realy. I drive on autostrada and it is ok. In city it is great. I can easy overtake a vw golf 1.4..... or a sheet corsa 1.2. Top speed it is no more then 165 km/h tested by me but it is ok.....
The ecu can be remapped but this hasn’t been, and I’d have thought similar,.. I’d have expected any differences just to be filtered out by fuel trimming but they just don’t seem to be. It’s done probably about 1000 miles or more with them in and definitely runs better on them. It’s mainly noticeable at cruising revs than anywhere else. It is also noticeably worse on fuel though.
i want to do this. but modfications are mostly illegal in israel. so im asking: when im doing the yearly test for the car. would they see it or does it looks normal but just green? sheesh
Hi do you have the injector part number so I can make sure I get the correct ones when I come to do mine thanks, keep up the work as love watching things on the bug.
Sorry mate I’ve not got the number. The way I found them was to search for someone breaking a Yaris TSport on eBay and message the seller to ask for the injectors from it, but these days they seem harder to find and more expensive. Probably cos people wanna buy them for their bugs 🤣 And thanks mate!
I think I would need much much bigger injectors to run on ethanol, probably about 150% flow rate but I’m not sure. If I could get hold of some I’d throw it in the give it a try though 🤷♀️
@@StupidBlokeStupidVideos Its maybe to late answer, but you need about 30% bigger injectors to run on bioethanol/E85. With ethanol, the engine will run better due to a high octane rating of 104. The engine internals will be clean so do the hole fuel system. Its gona be more reliable and have more power, and ethanol makes less wear on the engine than petrol
What model is your car. I have a Peugeot 10 (2011). This does have a toyota engine 1.0 petrol. What is your opinion??👍 And which toyota yaris are the injectors from?
I didn’t get the part number, but the injectors are from a Yaris 1.5 T-Sport. Around 2004 model. Probably better to get some used ones out of the correct car than buy new aftermarket ones I’ve seen on eBay in my opinion.
I wonder how much more it would gain if you put on that massive air filter and route the cold air intake properly - without cutting a hole on the bonnet again. In fact I wonder if the ECU would start to struggle with more air and fuel being injected?
that silver aygo has it running at 97/8 hp and my C1 is running about 90hp but needs more tuning to get the correct a/f ratio and a proper exhust that isnt just racing headers.
That silver aygo has a channel about his mods as well as TSA performance having an instagram page where you can buy the mods. my C1 is running near the same setup with some diffreinces. my C1 has tspot yaris injectros, piper racing exhust, full 2.5" stainless exhust. bigger coil packs, stage 2 flash tune and a TSA Induction Kit (Non A/C). this set up could do with a dyno tune but im unable to fine the people to do it where i live so it does overfule on the tune but iv changed cars while i put a turbo on it.
Hello, I have a suggestion since you like tinkering with your C1. Can you please try to install a bigger oil filter ? older 1KRFE engine that have recently started burning a little oil may benefit a bit from a bigger oil filter. If you decide to do it please tell us the exact oil filter product number so we can duplicate it. Thank you
Combine this with a 1NR throttlebody and a cone filter to compensate for extra horses. Or go further and yank on that crazy expensive ITB kit with some 2.0 injectors
@@z-trip5457 I’d love to fit a supercharger or a turbo, I could get a cheap shitter off eBay for couple of hundred quid but I’d never find the time to do it way things are at the moment. Maybe one day and cheers. As long as I’ve time to make them and stuff to film, I’ll keep them coming 🙃
Thanks. I don’t have a link to the injectors unfortunately as I got them from a breaker on eBay. I just searched for someone breaking a Yaris T-Sport and messaged them for the injectors. Hi mate got a check engine light from doing this and it ended up running too rich so swapped back to the stock injectors. Tried all the normal stuff to reset the light but nothing has worked, any ideas of what to do?
What year is your car? I’ve not heard of anyone else having that issue and it’s quite a popular mod on these cars. Was it definitely running rich and not lean? I’ve seen people have lean issues due to the seals not fitting right and drawing air in.
@@gregcornes8912 interesting. White smoke wouldn’t indicate overfueling. It was probably just condensation if it was cold. It’s not a big job to fit them. I’d reset it on a code reader and maybe try again after a bit of a drive.

don't get it... what's the point of fiting bigger injectors if there is no change in amount of delivered air? only with more air more fuel make any sense...
Good question. Cars from the factory are set up as a compromise, and usually performance is held back in favour of fuel economy and more so emissions. These definitely made a noticeable difference without even mapping them in.
@@Mybwain if I had time to do it, I’d probably consider something like that. I’d like to turbo the shitter for a laugh, but time is the enemy of anything like that at the moment.
