There's a plug that fits the ID, with a screw type expansion, that may fit from the interior or exterior. Thanks for the clip.

Hi @carguy11! Thanks for the vid I have a question please. If I just wanted to go ahead and take off that muffler only and not the extra padding under the filter, do you think it can be done without taking the intake off at all? And just getting that part off with the rest attached?

Could you have plugged the hole in the air box piece you removed and re-installed that box so it looks like it is factory? Looked like it was about a 1inch hole in the 1 pound part. You a cap the same as you did one the 2 inch one but it would be inside.

At 6:17 ,why you didn't remove those two ) ) plastics to let more unrestricted air to come inside the box? No aftermarket gauze filter as K&N for more performance?

wouldn't the airbox resonator delete affect engine efficiency? saw somewhere that the delete will cause pressure on engine internals & affect some airflow harmonic stuff or something

bms makes a part for this $40 for it

Uhh, you REALLY want to put some sort of foam on there, pronto. THat is conected to the valvecover and is a strait access to your oil. I dont know if you ever noticed but it is really dirty underneath the filter, and that is where this valvetrain breather hose is connected. So without that little foam piece, what is going to keep your oil from getting nasty?
