Sometimes I minimize RU-vid and just listen as I do other work on my computer... In this episode I had to stop doing the other work. Amazing job guys!!
Hey thanks for the video. Looks fun. I live in Yucca Valley, with Joshua Tree Nat'l Park as my front yard. I have a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 2wd, bone stock. I took it out on some high desert backcountry roads recently, and I'm looking for an honest opinion on whether this vehicle is capable enough for this level of play (assuming operator skills), or if I'm stupid for not having all the shit... tires, winch, traction boards, 4wd or at least lockers, etc. The classic rock crawler build. If you look on the map, I took it from Machris Park up to Eureka Peak, via Covington Flat Rd. It was fine in the sand, had enough clearance for a few "crawley" spots, but where I almost got in trouble was getting back up a couple sandy hills that were easy enough to go down. Really had to gun it to get back up the hill, and took a few tries. Trying to get a sense of what the easiest mods would be to make it appropriate for this terrain, is it fins as-is, or should I just spend the money and buy someone;s pre-build on Marketplace? lol.
@@ManUPLifeCoaching I would heavily recommend something awd or 4x4. Varilock Jeep preferably. But at the same times there’s not a lot of backcountry roads you couldn’t accomplish with some decent tires and a winch. If you’re wanting to get anymore serious than that I would find a mild build for a good deal on marketplace. Come to Utah and I’ll sell you one for a good deal
@@dogsdogsnumbers it used to have 35s and a 4.5 rough country lift but they were too big even with a lot of trimming so we switched it up to some 33s go check out our build overview for a list of everything done!
hes do a lot of stupid things to WJ that cost him perforace of its car. quadradrive with vailock was jeep best 4x4 system which is easy to maintaine with just correct fluides to diffs with moppar additives and oem trans fluid (which is expensive but performe supperior than stupid oversized lift and tyres with no diff lock)...
I just got a 2000 jeep grand Cherokee Laredo. Stock. 4.0. 99k on the motor. Very clean. Parked in the garage all the time. I enjoyed the video. I didn’t realize how capable it is stock. I would never put it through that much punishment. I’ve already put 4 coats of wax on her. 😂.
