I doubt those Freddy's went through. The thing that bugs me about StockX is that they don't delete their sales that didn't pass authentication. Like you alluded to, that can affect the market. Nobody getting those at 1500 when it goes for 20k. 😂
They do delete pairs that don't process. I saw a pair of Skeletor SBs last month that were listed for $1200 (which is way below market) and they were shown as sold the next day. I checked again like 2 weeks later and the sale wasn't listed anymore. I don't know that it happens like that ALL the time, but it does happen.
I've been ordering off stock x for 7 plus years and never had a problem. I believe people just think it's cool to talk negative about stock x. Idk. Everyplace that has human authentication is never 100 💯 besides if someone offered Freddy's for under 5k I would never buy. Why someone would take that chance. There is nobody in the world gonna leave thousands on the table. C'mon just think about it. Smh. Anyway love the content Sneakernomics!!! Keep up great work.
Got a fake reverse shattered backboard GS that I paid $700 for. And an authentic 2015 Chicago GS missing all accessories. Only 2 issues I’ve had. Never had an issue returning both orders though.

I purchased on sneakers app The Jordan 1 low east side golf out of mud two years ago, I gave them to my mate for his birthday as we wearing the same size . The box is a beauty of art with extra transparent cover each shoe is wrapped individually key lace and a second pair or brown laces. Bought it again on stock x 2 weeks ago as the shoe is pretty good Arrived in a regular common black box The shoes looks verified but got worried as they didn’t arrived on their lux box Never buying from them again

StockX sent me some Dunk high like 3-4 years back without the extra laces. So they have a strike with me. The shoe was Dunk High T.V. signal. The shoes didnt cost much its just the principle. And fortunately I would have never used the alternative laces... but its the principle.
i grew up wearing shell toes everywhere, white ones, black ones, vlack with white shell, etc etc. i can't understand why everyone is feeling those pillowy ones...they look like baby shoes imo but the thinned out ones that look sorta lke og country with a shell toe i think are super nice.
Nike had a sale and saw the Lebron 21 Dragon Pearl for a steal and my Kobe 5 undefeated unlucky 13 came in and man it’s so gorgeous had to get it off resale but the guy was very cool about it

I like Tatum's sneakers. And while I think the AE1s and the Hardens, they are also super boring (though I have no idea about performance). The Tatums are definitely the best Jordan ATM (beside that one pink/white gradient Zion 3). I will also definitely cop the Superstar Virginias, normal sized, if they aren't priced insanely.

Also, Nike isn't taking shit back when it comes to basketball shoes. Unless they actually put shoes out there that are actually new and stop modifying kobe 5s and throwing someone else's name on it and call it a new model. Nikes top basketball shoe performance wise are Kobe 6,8,9, Lebron 21, 20 and KD16's. All those shoes have been out for years and Nike has yet to make anything that has surpassed those models.
Hey don't hate on Nigos foot size. I'm 166cm and have a shoe size 42,5 EU (9US) if I dress slim, my feet also look gigantic. I usually cancel it out by wearing regular fit pants, if makes it less obvious
I have a feeling that whole Freddy dunk situation is ALL CAPP. If u really look at the details it doesn't add up and how do, we know for sure the pair we see in the photo is the $1,500 pair. That was sold on stockx and wouldn't that pair not make it thru authentication and also wouldn't stockx. Realize the price is iffy or not close at all to any of the previous pairs and to be cautious.
