It's you. No, Stockard turned into a VERY fine-looking woman in the 1990s. She got better-looking as she got older, as is the case strangely for a lot of people. Well, for one thing, she got very successful in film and television in the 90s and beyond, and it seems that people get better-looking when they get successful (for some reason). Steve Carrell's another example. He got better-looking with age -- or as he became a bigger star. Compare how he looked in his beginnings on The Office or in The 40-Year-Old Virgin, with how much better he would look in his career later on. Success makes you physically hotter, it seems.

Yes first it was Stockard Canning then Stodard Channing... don't you think for something as important as that they would have made sure he at least could pronounce the nominees names? A but humiliating for the actor/actress.
