Stockfish 16.1 vs Chess.com [Maximum (3200) Level 25] 

I was surprised too. 😂 I think it has to do with the time limit on chess.com’s engines.

LC0 still, but extremely rarely, blunders.

@@Xenonity Here's how it works: 1. I opened Arena Chess GUI 2. I gave Stcokfish 16.1 2 extra pawns 3. I gave the engine little time to calculate moves by immediately forcing it to make a move after I make a move so it would blunder its queen. (The engine could put its queen in a square where it could be captured or leave it hanging to be captured.) 4. I let the engine calculate at 30+ depth after it blundered its queen so it would make the game more challenging for me to win even with a queen up. You can try this at chess Arena GUI. It may take several tries to pull this off.

I immediately made the engine play moves after I moved so the search depth would be lower enough for it to blunder its queen. (It would usually hang it or put it in a square where it can be captured. After that, I made it play at 30+ depth to make it harder for me to win with a queen up. I did this in chess Arena GUI. Edit: I also gave it 2 pawns for the loophole to work.

@@raymundbelleza1279 oh, I thought you found some order of moves that defeat Stockfish. If you give the engine less time, of course It’s going to play worse; but that’s still cool I guess. 😊

@@Xenonity I don't think it's actually possible to outsmart the engine with raw playing strength considering the fact that it can beat grandmasters and even strong engine like Lc0 or Komodo. If Magnus can't do it, I don't think anyone can. People usually defeat the strongest engines through time and material handicaps or loopholes. I've never heard a person that actually defeated Stockfish 16.1 with raw playing strength.
