Asiana also has an economy section on the 2nd deck. I always choose to sit up there and agree, it rocks. Although, you had to board from the downstairs? Asiana lets us board on the 2nd level with the business class.
I presume you had the standard (31-inch) seat pitch, that the IFE was adequate and that there were power outlets. The food service was good: the breakfast on the hop to Munich when they could have given just a snack, the pre-dinner snack and the generous pre-landing snack. The pasta dinner was the cheapest possible entree, but it did come with salad, roll and dessert, so for economy it was sufficient. Altogether this looks like you had an agreeable flight. Lufthansa did its job well.
This was a nice video but felt it was way too rushed. Some of the most beautiful parts were rushed with music yet the transfer through MUC was way too detailed. Still, nice video and I enjoyed it. It was very nice that you made comments throughout the video so that was a big plus. Thank you for posting.
I am flying from San Francisco to Munich in June also with Lufthansa A380. Would you recommend me the seat? Or it wasn’t very comfortable (because it is in the rear of the plane, where you feel more turbulences) or it was too close to toilet and you were annoyed of people’s constant flushing.
I absolutely recommend that seat, we had no remarkable turbulences so I can’t give an opinion but it had an usual feeling. The seat atmosphere is quite private, flushing is almost imperceptible within the usual aircraft noise. So yes go for it! :-)
