You want crappie in a bass pond to eat the bass fry not all will be eaten but the ones that make it to 6 inches will be to big for the crappie to eat and the bass will eat the crappie of all sizes to grow if you don’t have predators to eat the fry the bass will over take the pond eat all the forage and the population will be stunted you gotta think of it as a functional eco system no crappie can eat a 1 pound bass but a 1 pound bass can eat a decent crappie 😂

Use velvets cheese with a bunch of flower and lots of garlic powder and mix it all together till it’s a playdoh like Consistency and I’ve never not caught trout with that homemade trout bait

Hey flair i would be carful with trout because there very finicky fish and love the cold. At mt uncles ranch we havw a spring creek that stays at 62 degrees because you dont want the temp to go above 70 for trout. They also need really clean water so you might need some pumps or filters for them.

I just want to say thank you to Andrew for coming out with a pocket knife that can withstand anything I was broke down on the highway and all I had was a bux’s pocket knife and was able fix my truck just with the knife and it is still sharp enough to clean a deer best pocket knife I have ever bought

I'm scared you didn't take care of the filters before planting those fish. I was hoping you would use a fish finder to see if the perch were still alive. Hopefully the water temperature was checked before planting trout or else they will die if the water is too warm. Hopefully everything works out. Btw I bought 5 jerky packs.

He did not cycle the pond in any way. "We are going to find this predator if there are no fish left" - It's you flair, you're the predator. You have to cycle the pond so it can process fish waste. Reach out to pool jet. This is basic stuff.

I have been doing a lot of research on creating the perfect deep fried meat recipe and this is where I am at. Consider this the “try hard hot sauce” recipe. If you have all the time in the world, coat your meat in salt and soak overnight in buttermilk and hot sauce. Either way, when you start, you want your meat as dry as possible, start by patting off moisture with paper towels. Once dry, add seasonings to taste and knead into meat then dredge in self rising flour mixed with one tblspn baking powder. Shake off all extra powder. Your binder should contain 2 cups of hot sauce, half cup of buttermilk, two raw eggs and a quarter cup of yellow mustard. Thoroughly mix and dip meat into binder. The coating should contain self rising flour, bread crumbs, finely ground saltines and hard pretzels, and seasoning to taste. If you want to go a little crazy add either a packet of ranch dressing powder or a heap of Parmesan cheese powder, mmm. Take the meat from the binder and add to the breading. Fully coat and shake off when complete. Add the meat back to the binder for a second coat but before moving to breading, drizzle some binder in the breading so it slightly clumps up to crested big crusty ribbons. Then move the meat from the binder to the breading and fully cover. Before frying, take the breaded meat and chill in the fridge for 30 minutes which will help keep the breading on the meat. After chilling, add to fryer and cook as usual.

Pro tip so the meat isn't tempted to stick to the bottom of the fryer basket, drop basket into oil first, then gently lay the meat into oil. 🙂

Hello guys, I noticed that you used the Louisiana fish fry. I have found that if you mix the Louisiana fish fry 2/3with about a 1/3 of basic flour you don't get the batter flaking off. It should be noted I've never used Hot Sauce as a base. Next on my list.

Flair you should build a chicken wire enclosure around the hatchery to keep birds and critters from eating your fish. Either make it tall enough to walk into, or keep it flat and put wheels on the bottom to slide it out of the way

A top for handling the trout, if you didn't know. Try and handle them with wet hands, the slime coating that they have to protect themselves from parasites will stick to dry hands and come off.

Just a tip: if you touch trout with dry bare hands you remove that slime coating and can kill them . Always wet your hands before handling a trout

It’s funny as hell how Banjo acted when yal were trying to sext the rabbits lol . Flair you really should’ve got your hatchery pond pumps running and so your hatchery pond was clean & cleared up before you added more fish to it so you’d be able to see all your fish. Yal should’ve threw a couple of eggs in the hot sauce or use some egg wash to help make the fish fry batter stick to the fish . Yal really should stock up with Variety of Small Mouth & Big Mouth Bass,Shad,Crappie,Bluegill,Carp,Pike,Flier,Walleye,Bowfin,Sucker,Sturgeon and a Variety of Sunfish. Keep up the great videos.
