After a hard days work it’s always nice to unwind with a relaxing walk on the beach.
Some interesting trivia: Alaska has more coastline than ALL lower 48 states combined!

You'll get there. One foot in front of another. Everyone is having weird weather. I guess we're just going to have to adjust and deal with it. You sure will be busy come spring and don't feel bad asking for help. Back in the day that's how friends, family and neighbors got things done. Helping each other out. Take care . See you on th next one. ❤❤

learn to harness those dogs, and have them pull the wood. you might be able to make a rope harness for the wood pulling. Worth a try. Try using your ashes to make the snow trails less slippery.

Maybe in a few years, you will have a little better time at getting the winter wood supply? It was nice to hear your son getting his goals started. Back in he 1960's, I grew up in eastern Oklahoma, my parents started their homestead of about 3 acres, with the out-house, when I went to college in fall of 1970, they finally got indoor plumbing. I now life about 20 miles to the east, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Thanks for sharing. Peace, Long Life, & Health to All.

Just found your channel from the suggestions list. You two are the real deal. Hard workers. I'm a little confused on why your driveway is in the state it is but I'm going back to watch the older videos and get caught up. I like seeing channels that are actually homesteading vs all these city folks moving up there and just buying all the equipment or hiring all the chores out. I want to do this same thing but I was starting to think if you're not rich it can't be done. Looks like you've relit the fire under my dream. Great video.

Good morning from Belize, Central America. Am just wondering why you don't stack the firewood sideways, which has been proven to be much safer, and you would carry more. Also why use your hands to pull your sled, when you could put the rope around your waste and let your body do the pulling?
