On November 6th, 2016, Stockton Firefighters responded to a fire in the 400 block of North Alpine Road. The area is contracted through the Eastside Fire Protection District, and sits on the Eastern most border of the response area.
This farmland East of Stockton lacks water-supplied hydrants, and requires the mutual aid response of Water Tenders from a neighboring agency.
Stockton Firefighters were challenged on this fire by having limited water supply at their disposal. Even with this set-back, fire crews were able to contain the fire and save the majority of the property.
We are proud to serve and protect the citizens and City of Stockton, California; and also always proud to serve and protect the citizens in the Eastside Fire Protection District.
