@@zacmarks7163 tbf to them it's really not easy supporting a club like stoke some teams at like Man Utd and Arsenal think they have it bad when they're the easiest clubs in the country to support.
Life long stoke city fan I came from the city years ago now live in florida proud to be a potter great atmosphere but I still prefer the old vic fantastic times seen my club play I still watch the potters every season in florida I subscribe to stoke city live
Came here with Newcastle for first time and couldn't believe how loud Stoke were, I thought they might have put crowd chants on the speakers because the sc fans nearest the away end were sat there doing nothing with there mouths shut. yet the noise was massive. But it looks like the hardcore are further away which might explain it.
They're always one of the loudest when they come to St Mary's. I was a little disappointed when I went to the Brittania stadium though because they were really quiet.
Went to the Britannia this season and West Brom fans outsung Stoke fans all game. I know we haven't got the best fans in the world but we were definitely louder than you lot for the whole 90 minutes.
I went to Stoke on Saturday for Newcastle and you's never sang but when you's did.. by god you's were loud! Honestly I would put Stoke as 1st when it comes to loudest home fans but 20th when it comes to consistency too bad cause if you sang more you'd be the best fans in the prem. What else I dont get is that you's get free away travel but never bring any anywhere, it bamboozles me as it cost me a fortune and when I first started going to away games I would be lucky to get a ticket never mind free travel!
It's a hangover of the Pulis era I'm afraid. Pulis was absolutely majestic at home, but as soon as we went away it went to pot, and our away followings got smaller and smaller, Stoke's one of the poorest areas in Britain and so it's no surprise people found other things to spend their money on given how poor our away form was, you're talking 1 or 2 away wins a season with about 3 draws. After some good results at the end of the season away from home (Villa 1-4, West Brom 1-2) hopefully it will bolster the travelling numbers for next season.
Stokie09123 Yeah well I hope it does because you have very and I mean very loud fans. Still to this day the loudest I've heard any team chant, but like I said the consistency just isn't there and again i'll repeat I hope the away following increases because I would love to hear 2500 Stoke fans singing this at St James', gives me shivers every time I watch this and think about it! Anyway good luck in the future with Stoke and hopefully Hughes can start something that could lead to Stoke being a top team in the prem, because the fans certainly are.
Good but the old vic was much louder more fan's double the fun got go a couple at the vic as a kid New ground closer to mine yet isn't the same never as been or will be not even in prem era As a kid i came home from the games ear's ringing
