Honestly, it was more than clearly visible he started ahead of you, not only from your POV inside the car, but from the heli shot you provided aswell and I bet form any of their accepted cameras too. If you pause the heli shot video on the frame you go over the line, its super obvious. Race direction simply was too lazy to review it in time and after so many days they would be ashamed to make any changes to the result. But anyways, as you said, lets move forward!

I don't know about the rules of appeal but it's pretty easy to prove or disprove your claim as long as you have access to the same cockpit camera setup as during the race. You take the relevant frame from the original recording and try to recreate that same setting by positioning another car in a way that matches the original and from there it should be clear to see if he was ahead or if it was just lens distortion or something. PS shadows on the track don't prove anything unless they're known to fall perpendicular to the track.
