Today we are taking a walk-through tour of a marvelous Amish market in Intercourse, Pennsylvania. We also would like to show you Roots Market and Ina’s Perogi Shop -so come on along on our Pennsylvania adventure!
There is just so much to see in these types of stores. All those sweets, were making my sweet tooth act up. lol I just love the meat department and produce departments in the Amish stores. Everything always looks so fresh. So much to do and see in this area for sure. Loved the video!
I brought home some of those portable stuffed mushrooms and they were delicious! Y’all will have to let us know sometime when you are in town and we can meet up for lunch or dinner!!
There's another farmers market in Lancaster County called the green dragon and the green dragon is only open on Fridays and I'm pretty sure a lot of people who have stands at roots farmers market also have stands at the green dragon the green dragon is in ephrata pa

You went to some great spots. We were there last week. You said you were camping where did you camp? This is one of our favorite places to go to get out of the Florida heat.
We were actually there June 1 through the eighth. We stayed at Lancaster new Holland KOA RV resort and we did a review. If you look a few videos back you’ll see it. It was a very nice camp spot.
So this place has GROWN since I was there about 16 years ago. It was maybe 1/3 the size. Always always good stuff from Stoltzfus!!! Yes! The Burgers are AMAZING!
Love the Lancaster area, beautiful countryside there. I remember going to the markets there with my grandparents when I was a little girl. There were a lot of amazing food to choose from, I wouldn’t know what to get! I don’t blame you, I think the next time I would go with my friend and let the guys do their thing. lol!
Yeah, we need to get a gimbal so that when we are moving around, it doesn’t make that crazy spinning feeling. Sorry about that! We are going to get one soon.
They do have a lot of good things In there they just expanded that store to the end where the produce is at that use to be a district court house they moved out that was when stolfus expanded I don't think its been a whole year since they expanded to
I do go there when I take the amish home at night from work some of them live down the road from there be glad your not up in pa right now there calling for a high of 97 degrees up here today and 97 tomorrow also
I would have loved to be on this trip with you! My husband gets a little yancy when we go to markets too. I could look for hours. Have you ever been to the Amish area in Sarasota, Florida? If so, is it worth a trip? Be about 4 hours drive for us.
I have heard about the Amish in that area. When we go to Florida again I want to try to make a trip there. I know exactly what you mean about the husbands…😂😂lol
I think the best thing there that we got was the stuffed portobello mushrooms. We got four and had one each the first week we got home and I am saving the other two for later this month. They were delicious.
