It’s great that you get on so well with all your neighbours! It’s always nice to help out where you can, you never know when you might need at little extra help yourselves. Good news that you are getting some professional help with the kitchen build. It will be amazing how fast they get it done! G once again planting up even more produce, you definitely have green fingers! Let’s hope you get a bumper harvest! ❤

Hello Rosemary :) Hope you well !!! So so happy we will have professionals coming and helping :) yes it will be expensive few weeks but it will be worth it and it will be so much faster ... I am checking my plants every day every morning .. crazy ;) but I love them

Thanks for sharing another video. Sharing days of work between properties was how farmers used to help each other with projects when i was a child and long before that. You two have a very healthy approach to work. N you co-operate with each other at ur own eatate. This is not always seen or easy. I am excited and eager to see the result of ur kitchen building.

I do got loads of eucalyptus leaves in one area just hoping that eventually will be big nice compost .. I don't burn everything :) Rocks are definitely nice ... love them as well

Thank you again for your nice video. Netlles are very useful plants and they are very easy to grow and healthy. I use them as fertilizer and food. I preserve them dried or frozen and use them in soups, woks and baking.

thank you !!!! They are magnificent ... I love them so much :) They shape is different and they make such a beautiful noise then it's windy ... And if we will look after them and clean them once a year they will be less dangerous (/well that's only my opinion of course ) Gxxx

Love this new video. Love your special place...Portugal is so scenic. Last video you put chicken wire on the ends of your tunnel. I think the chickens will reach through the sides through the big square netting and get the vegetables.

Hello Christine :) Thank god they didn't !!! But this morning I was planting tomatoes in a second tunnel and our hens came in through the sides as you just said .. but they don't really go there if I am not there and not digging soil.. so hopefully this won't repeat .. I will watch it and if they will then will have to something there to prevent the going in .. maybe bamboos ...as we got a lot ;)

once cut down bamboo can be killed off by keeping any new growth cut as soon as it shows it will take 2-3 years for it to work.

I was just saying this morning that last year we done just one terrace .. this year we got second terrace full of goodies and next year we planning to use third one as well .. definitely getting more comfortable

In Australia gum trees or Eucalyptus trees in Portugal are known as widow makers I would move your gym

Hopefully our eucalyptus ok as they are young and the branches is not big so it they brake it shouldn't be so dangerous and gym is not being used it's just for display reasons ;)

Chickens don't dig a hole and shit in it .. where did you seen it? they like to bath in it .. to have a dirt bath ;) We are super happy with some professionals coming to work on our kitchen and hopefully we will have some yummy veg to eat ... better be ;)

Felizmente não são bambus, são canas. São muito úteis nas hortas, para as ervilhas, favas, tomates, feijões, etc. O bambu é como o eucalipto, só arrancando pela raíz.

Hello :) His name is Guffy and he is boy 9 year's old !! he got a character and so smart ... and he just living his best life here ... just he doesn't like fly's and we just started fly season LOL so he is chasing every single one ... But by the time Autumn will come he won't be even bother about them .. SO funny

Hello To Sweden ;) Andrius don't lift them ... I do .. Just joking :) The Gym is not used at the minute as Andrius lifting stones so we let him off this time ;) ... We got 9 chickens and rooster. Our neighbours got 54 chickens and do come to us so it might look that we got more chickens then we do !!! Cucumbers are good and they growing healthy .. just waiting for warmer nights as not it goes down to 1.9 c degrees .. and this is not good for cucumbers

Ха .. 400 луковиц ... это нормальное количество для семьи из 2 человек на год. Я обычно сажаю 60 метров лука , 60 м- метров свеклы , 60 м- моркови , 60 м - капусты и 8х60 картофеля ))) И это нормальное количество для собственного потребления . Шутка была в том , что многие не могут вырастить ничего. Кто то даже шутил что у неё отберут ирландский паспорт за то, что картофель не вырос. Я удивлен , что вы сажаете свеклу семенами прямо в грунт. Семена свеклы всегда сцеплены между собой и бросая 1 семечко в лунке получается 3-4 корня. Потом придется выдергивать лишние. Или у вас какие то модные и современные сорта ?...РАССАДОЙ проще и быстрее урожай(Наталья).

Hello Natalija :) My mum used to sow beets directly to the ground so I done the same .. later she would pick them and leave just one or two .. but I know what you mean now ... and maybe I could use same white tray where these onions where ? and later on just pick them and plant them ... I think I will do that for next time :) Thank you for your idea !!! For us is never enough onions .. we love them .. but it is good in PT because growing season is so much longer then in Russia .. as we can grow carrots , beets and onions during the winter
