People say wrestling is dying, but when Austin or Rock come back, even just for a promo, the place go's nuts. The problem is there are no stars with the charisma of Austin and Rock now.
It's tough for anyone to be honest. There was a golden age of wrestling that you cannot recreate. The late 90s early 2000s are always going to be untouchable.
All the greats are retiring. Some have even passed away. It's hard to create one of a kind characters like The Undertaker and the fact that he's retired now leaves a gigantic hole. You can't just recreate The Undertaker and you can't do any of the stuff he did without being a copycat. Bray Wyatt was actually pretty good but they made him loose too much.
@@adamx9987 No Adam he lost the plot completely, check it out for yourself, what he did was hit rock bottom ( excuse the pun ) and it got nasty along the way before he managed to get his shit together again, the self destructive impulse doesn't have to be fatal, one can recover and he has spectacularly, love the guy for coming back like this. I totally get your point just think the full story is more true to life
If I didn’t know this was 2022 I would have thought this was 1999 again. Man he can pack a stadium. I stopped watching back in 2000/2001 but I think why everyone love Austin is because we all know someone like him a friends dad or uncle. He’s the real deal. Fake or not he deliveres entertainment.
I stopped watched soon after Austin became a heel. Sure I dabbled now and again but I am 40 now and will never see the epic awesomeness that was The Attitude Era.
I was there night 2 and when you heard that glass shatter the whole stadium went nuts including me and I was in freaking tears. I never got to see him live(grew up poor) and now here I am in 2022 I am 34 years old and seeing him live for the first and last time🥺.
Austin is the best to ever do it man, he can wrestle just like he could back in the day. Takes the same bumps and the same abuse to entertain the fans, Stone Cold is WWF/WWE!
I was 23 I havnt been so giddy for for a wwe match. It's just unbelievable all the talent we had everywhere in our era. Not only wwe but music movies everything died once the internet came. This internet ruined talent
amazing....if there was any match id ever wanna be at the rest of my life and the only one i could ever attend ever...it woulda been this night of wrestlemania watchin stone colds last match...amazing
I loved seeing Stone Cold whoop some ass again. But as we older guys know he adrenaline pushed him through and I'm sure he was feeling no pain at the time, but I'm positive he was feeling it the next day and probably still. I'd actually start watching again if he came back.
Stone Cold Steve Austin, like Ric Flair, has not only captured immense popularity, he gained irreversible respect from fans around the world. And though The Rock, is phenomenal… and Hulk Hogan, is the ultimate OG, who built the brand… Austin, took it out of the stratosphere. He keeps the memory and quality of wrestling, how we remember it… Back in the day. Respect 3:16
We grew up when WWE was at its best with Undertaker, Austin, HHH, Kane, Rock, Brock Lesnar, Mankind Shed blood for the entertainment while the audience shed tears of joy at their heroism.
Man , him the rock and taker and Kane was the only reason I got into WWF I was 3 years old when the “Austin 3:16” promo happened , been a die hard fan since
This was f-ing amazing! He looked great for not being in a ring (wrestling) for almost 20 years! *I've had to edit this twice now because people are idiots and take stuff so literal. 🤦♂️
You never know man, he looks great. I would love to see him in AEW, but he is loyal to WWE. Surely next year in Hollywood and then Wrestlemnia 40, he must be there.
This Wrestlemania was impossibly good. Best since my childhood. I wasn’t expecting the WWE to even be able to maintain the same kind of relevance it once had without the old stars, and here’s they’re doing impossible. Even Vince had a match. This was the best in forever.
This is what made Mania 38 Night 1 so special. No shortcuts were taken that night. Similarly how Cody's returning match didn't need to be that good either but it was
