We brought one of these bags at the caravan show and after using it for a few mths decided we needed another one. hey are great as they let moisture out and breatrh.
Beauty mate, love the idea and end product. any chance you expand into rear tyre bags or or rear bar bags? I don't tow a trailer as its just myself in the Troopy. Loving the the mesh + water proof (as much as it can be ofc) ideas. Will allow for snorkel/surfing gear to drip out, as well as being a can/bottle bag ofc. Loving the vids mate, from Perth myself so keen to see where you're off to next.
We’ve been running 3 of these bags on our van now for 8 months and no problems with them coming loose 🙂 they are designed specifically not to have any movement in them.
If they are attached correctly will not happen. I am not very handy, I installed mine and it has survived, sand tracks, corrugated roads and KMs of black top. Top notch!
not saying they suck and im not saying they are great im just saying things happen but to reduce the risk what could be done maybe a spring loaded clip of some sort rather than a simple open hook and still be a 1 second job to get it off.. just an idea where would we be without ideas
$200? I'm using kings dirty bags behind stone guard ( cut straps off with a few tex screws and washers, $40 for two, one holds red/black ramps and other water hoses, 2 years and still ok
I could send this product offshore, make it cheaper and make bigger margins on it but we’ve chosen to keep it Australian made. These bags are made in Perth by another small family business. We use the highest quality materials available (reinforced uv stabilised truck mesh, ripstop PVC and stainless steel fixings). It’s not cheap but it is quality 👌 It’s certainly not for every one though, and that’s all good! 🙂
Cam I thought you were more concerned about spilling the cocktails in the back of the 300 on the boys trips, than sand in the back. Ps bags look great.
Just have to (receive) install my stone guard then I'm in. Exactly what I've been looking for to store the sullage hose and it's fitting piece. These can make a mess in the van's boot. PS: Loving the way a simple, well thought out product like this draws out the RU-vid R&D team! Hat's off to you for remaining patient and not just flipping them off. Buying them from you isn't compulsory, is it? 😂
