"The original is better" no shit, plus to actually shit on a band that values and pays respect to the pioneers of metal is downright stupid, they didn't play the song to be better than Black Sabbath, they played it to admire their legacy. It's fine if you don't like it but there's no need for disrespect for either band.
I’m not a huge fan of Stone Sour, but man...do I like this cover! Corey is one of the best rock/metal vocalists of all time. Sabbath is awesome. Iommi is a riff master!
I grew up with the likes of Sabbath and have always been ignorant towards more modern metal bands,.....but ive changed my mind after seeing this,....awesome musicians. Great cover.

This was a really good cover. I know I'm gonna get hate for this, but Corey singing this song reminds me of a young Ozzy; idk why. Either way, I'm looking forward to seeing both this band and Ozzy this October.
The House Of Gold And Bones Part 1 and 2 are the two must underrated rock albums of the 21st century. Corey and Jim's writing across both albums is unbelievable. "Red City", "Black John", "Peckinpah", "Stalemate", "The House Of Gold And Bones", "RU486", "Gone Sovereign", "Absolute Zero", "The Last Of The Real", and "Gravesend" just off the top of my head would feel right at home on a Slipknot album. Even if Stone Sour is over forever, Corey, Jim, and co. have made a ton of music to be proud of with this band. This shit fucking jams.

you can feel corey's urge to get get more aggressive with the vocals but he stops just before, he remembers that's for the other band. Such is the power of this song.
Corey Taylor is right without Black Sabbath metal wouldn’t be the way it is today and I wouldn’t even be picking up a guitar I guarantee it if it hadn’t been for them cause Metallica is my favorite band and James Hetfield is the reason why I play guitar but no Black Sabbath means no Metallica or all the metal bands that are out there to this day
this is one of those things that make corey so unique he does things other metal vocalist don't do or don't have the balls to do thats one of the reasons why i like slipknot they don't have this stereotypical metal thing many bands fight with..they are original not this long hair, tattoo, black clothes thing ya know

mick and joey are the only one with long hair but look at the old school days of the knot they wore red jumpsuits and masks and joeyand mick were the only ones with really long hair corey had his dreads and everyone else had short hair and the tattoos mostly came over the years
Whats wrong with this F'ing crowd? They're just not feeling it. I tell you if this was played in the UK the crowd would be going berzerk. UK mosh pits are insane. Thats why so many bands love playing there and when they release live stuff, they often choose the UK to film it, because they know the crowd proper go for it. This crowd is treating it like a dinner party.

i don't like Stone Sour, but this cover is just awesome... i love Black Sabbath and i think they'll be proud of this.... the solo wasn't that good but anyway a great cover
