And no auto tune… he was the real deal. Going through addiction myself for 10 years and going on four years clean, it’s really a shame that he was taken from us and he lost his life… A shame for the entire world well as him. We could probably still be going to Stone Temple pilots concerts with the original lineup to this day if it wasn’t for the drugs that have affected as many lives as brutal war itself.

This blew my mind as well! Although the live performance from the Nissan of slither is also pretty epic in itself! But this is better by magnitudes… That’s why it was hard to believe this was after velvet revolver! I’m kinda mad at myself because I could have been a 21-year-old man and literally seen the original Stone Temple Pilots put on an epic fucking show if I had only discovered how amazing they were at the time…

It is the signal that “Jehovah’s day” is about to begin! Read 1 Thessalonians 5:4-6. Paul’s exhortation tells us how we can make sure that we are ready for “Jehovah’s day.” We should “not sleep on as the rest do.” We must “stay awake” and remain alert. For example, we need to be alert to the danger of compromising our neutrality by getting drawn into the world’s political issues. If we were to get involved, we could become “part of the world.” (John 15:19) We know that God’s Kingdom is the only hope for world peace. Besides staying awake ourselves, we also want to help others wake up to what the Bible foretold would happen in the world. Let us remember that once the great tribulation begins, it will be too late for people to turn to Jehovah. That is why our preaching work is so urgent!
