All three were driving hard to Valhalla, shiny and chrome, well at least until a rollover happened. Speaking of, D-Man's first run in that Bronco scared me 💩less and yelling at my phone! To see him dunk his ride straight into the catch pit was indeed epic!! Ought to make for a good short, that footage! Nice little plug for the next modified event here, saying those often fare better than stock vehicles 😉 Thrilling show and some fantastic redemption for D-Man in his second attempt 💯😎🏁
Thanks as always eh! Ya... Got to keep the modified category out of the stock. The mods that rolled thru with the SRO proved you can defiantly improve the performance with some ingenuity. Those custom broncos always make for a good show!

I am beginning an off-road track because what you are doing is compelling. Any thoughts you have on how to make it work well would be great. Mine will be stored outside in my shed when not in use so needs to be moveable. Wife would not want a permanent track in the house. Thoughts? Thanks.
A wire siv, the round kind you can usually find at a buck store with with around a 1-2 mil gap between the wire's is perfect for getting a good rock size that wont bind up your wheels! Also good for getting lighter sand in the mix. Just find the shoulder of a random road and grab a few handfuls of A gravel and shake them up. Results in some nice clean uniform stone for the track
Expect to do a lot of testing to find the best match between the angle of your slope and the material you use, John 👍 Once you begin designing any track you become an amateur physicist! Using a flour sifter/sieve is a great tip for getting the tinier bits separated.
One other tip, the release mechanism here is so bespoke and unusual I might suggest a rolling start from a short piece of standard "orange track" at first, if that isn't too narrow for the cars you want to run. The Pebble Path here has a similar start area and sometimes vehicles are a little wide to run on it; good enough to get them rolling 👍
@@BeaverworxDiecastRacing for so long, I had assumed you were using cheap clay kitty litter for the Stoned Road, nice to have confirmation the material really is rock. Perhaps that's part of why the slow motion replays look SO GOOD here!
