A year seems to go so fast. But here it is again, the 2024 Stonham Barns Bike Show. Some dealers missing due to a lack of communication but the show was still as popular as always and I chat to the rozzers.

Taym they haven't killed me yet for as lovely as the thruxton is I noticed you love that buddy of yours the Michelins will probably fit the no name as well keep ya stuck to the road.

Mechelin Roadstar 6 tyre's are probably the best if fit Thruxton I think 🤔 they'll fit.

What a great vlog video Thanks for the take along Spotted a few bikes that I hade the pleasure of owning in the distant past and loved the Bantam that was for sale but it was to new for me but the price was right Looked to be a great day and I’m sure i would have enjoyed being there as much as you seemed have All the Vintage British bikes is where my time would have gone as I don’t see many over here Thanks again 🦩🦩🦩🦩

Cheers Taym. The vintage Japanese enclosure bikes had me grinning from ear to ear. Not sure about having a Fazer in there though, l must be even older than l feel!

Just got out from the hospital, TAYM .. My knee injurie got worse over time and the mechanics there had to twicket a bit. 😁😁 p.s. Told you, TAYM, a piece of wooded floor under the scooter's seat does the trick /can be in a backpack too/ 😁

@@TAYM It looks to me as the one thats currently fitted is from a D7 Bantam, but these later 4-speed engines should have a centre plug head.

It was a great show, didn't arrive until the afternoon so we missed bumping into you, but got half-price admission...you lose some...you win some 😁 Had a long chat with trailerman, his GT380 and trailer are REALLY nicely done! Loads of great bikes to see and we finished off with a fantastic stunt display by the 2 Brothers. Back next year 🤞😎

That BSA Bantam D14/4 was beautiful. I bought an almost-new one in 1969 as a ride-to-work bike; it never gave me a moment's trouble. 👍

Lots of lovely old and not so old bikes there, Mr TAYM. I was sure you were going to put an offer in on that Bantam ! I learnt to ride on my dad’s one when I was 12, many years ago !! 👍

My old dad had a pre war Panther, must have been early 1960's. Don't tell the rozzers, but as a nipper, I remember I used to sit between dad and mum on trips out-and with no helmets!

Wonderful seeing all those awesome bikes! My first street bike was a 1974 Honda CB360 in those same gold colors, loved that bike so much and rode it everywhere. Bought if from a friend in 1980 for $400, if only we had a time machine and could relive those days of our youth 🤣

Morning TAYM that Bantam was the same model and colour as mine,my first bike at 16 ! a D14/4 ,..that's a 69' G reg, mine was a'68 F reg , I was glad when I passed my test and bought a Triumph 500 Speed twin , I was glad to be rid of the Bantam at the time, it was always oiling up the bloody spark plug and wouldn't start! 😅 some great bikes there again! 👌👍 Cheers Mel 🍻

That Bantam is a Bantam Cub, four stroke not two stroke.

Is it bollocks a four stroke! You can clearly see it's a two stroke , there's isn't a pushrod tube or tappet cover insight! 😅😅 and look how short the barrel is ! I know what one looks like, I owned one for over a year and rode it to work almost every day! 😅 @@diversionbob8482

Mint BSA Bantam a mate had one when we were about 13-15 for off-roading down the river & park across from HIS house.
