People think “no working” is a holiday and I saw a lot of people at the field enjoying the sun it’s rediculous it will get uncontrollable if it continues
CardtrickerJeffrey12 but who faults that ? the governments .. should either shut up totally or let this be . Only shutting restaurant and not takeaways is stupid
It's victim's of domestic abuse I feel sorry for because they probably can't wait to get out the house to go work or wherever, now they could be stuck in for 12 weeks. Worrying times.
Really well said Mark. As a Doctor I can only say please please follow the advice of isolation/distancing. It shouldn't take hundreds or even thousands of deaths for us to realise this is serious. Stay safe.
Like most sensible people I stayed away from my mum today. I have never appreciated a FaceTime with her more than I did today. Some people will not have the chance to even FaceTime with their mothers this time next year. I am so ashamed of the selfishness of some of the people in this country.
Mark what you are saying is true, and I fully back you. Being a person with a disability, with no help from selfish neighbours , as soon I saw what was happening, I knew I had to make a plan to used a family friends business, a village store to do my shopping twice a week. As long as a order a head, they were fine to help me. As like you, I cannot handle supermarkets now, with the way people are panic buying, and once Boris finally closed the pubs, cafes and restaurants on Friday. Saturday when I went into a supermarket people where standing in the aisles, having full conversations, blocking the aisle, poor over work supermarket staff too frightened to say anything. That was me out. Keep up the good work mate, you are getting me through this. From a life long Liverpool fan.
I had a friend that had the virus. He was close to dying and it should stop. He didnt isolate himself but i told him to and he did. He didnt wash his hands because he thought it was a joke. He was 37 yrs old and his brother died and i think he was sad so he wanted to end it but he didnt. Mark i love what u do keep up the good work and pray for my friend. Thank u
Please people! I’m a father of 3. Two of my boys who live with their mum are currently self isolating. I’m hoping that once that’s over I get to see them for a short time. HOWEVER if we continue to behave like this. We will be under more severe restrictions even curfews. This will stop me from seeing my boys! Pleas follow advise. Stay safe! Just think of the consequences for you and others!!
People who are being ignorant are gonna cost the lives of many of the vulnerable. This has got to stop being selfish. People only doing what they want to do
Well said Mark. People need to realize that we are all connected all over the world...your actions, affect me and my actions affect the next person from Canada who then affects the next person from Singapore etc....we need to realize that unless every single person in the world is totally aligned to the same ideology, which is to do whatever it takes to beat this thing, we will not overcome this. We either get through this together or we go down together - this truly is the biggest test of humanity in recorded history in my opinion.
What these idiots are doing by panic buying and hoarding is taking it away from the vulnerable people in our society, the elderly! I’ve been dropping bits off to my Nan but not going in just in case. Think people!
Here in Australia our situation is very similar to England where shops and schools are gradually closing down and by the next week or so we will probably under a full lockdown. Weird thing is that our soccer (football) season is still running and so is our Rugby League...
Hope u stay safe. My son is an EMT here in California transporting possible covid 19 patients. He text me today asking if I had any n95 fasemask....because he has to wear the same one for a few days.
My favourite football game I’ve played in was the league final. We were top of the league throughout, but another team had games in hand. Near the end of the season we took our foot off the gas cuz we were so far ahead and the other team with games in hand had to win their last 4/5 games to equal us… They did and we had to play a final - we won it 3-2, last few moments were intense and I remember wiping someone out when they were gonna counter in the last few minutes. Lifting the title like that was a much better feeling than being top throughout…
Questioning my life? How’s it too dramatic? We were top throughout - they had games called off due to bad weather (which was normal in Sunday league football). We saw the gap and thought we won it, they caught up. Finished level points and played a final at a neutral ground and we won it 3-2… Remember it vividly - it was a nice hot summers day. Some finals/seasons are dramatic… You’re watching a United fans channel: I’m not saying we scored 2 goals to win 2-1 in added time (1999 CL final) but things more dramatic than my Sunday league experience have happened. It was my only league win so I remember it proudly.
Da Ting Go Skrrr Thank you, the other guy said it was ‘total fiction’ which is what made me reply 👍… Dramatic is a lot better looking back if you won but in the moment it’s intense and if you lost it’s frustrating because u were so close. But yes, dramatic is the best way to win things… Have a good day in isolation on YT 👍 (like me😂)
people think isolation means holiday, drove past my local park earlier and it was packed like a summer day, no way social distancing was being implemented, and don’t even get me started on those waiting outside of the supermarkets, these are the ones who are responsible for prolonging this pandemic.
Top man mark your completely right, could you ever live with your self if you knew deep down you weren't doing enough playing with people's life's because you can't follow simple instructions the government have set out for us all, the ignorance of some people is disgusting
sometimes people arent being selfish, getting stuck in the house involuntarily can have serious negative effect to your mental health. I am an introvert person and I rarely go out but these days I feel depressed when I was forced to stay at home.
Yeah... I started wfh a week and a half ago and my landlord was having around 5/6 people over every afternoon to play video games and hang out. Most people just don't care, they do not feel too threatened because they are young, so they don't have a real incentive to take this seriously.
It’s sad times - in Wednesday I saw my Nan for the last time for 13 weeks… Her doctor called her to say she has to self-isolate for that long so we took a last visit because we see her every week and it’s going to be long. We’re doing this but idiots, as Mark says, are going to make this process longer than what it should be. My nans neighbour is old too, but says he sneaks out because they can’t keep him locked up in his house 🤦♂️… ffs! I’m here hoping my Nan stays safe, and you get idiots like that. But there’s idiots at both ends. The other end are people thinking this is the apocalypse and bulk buying supplies to last the year so my mum had to visit 5/6 shops just to buy my Nan some hand wash and toilet paper because she’s too old to get around especially with this virus.
We are in complete lockdown from today in India for the next 10 days and is likely to extend. Govt also declared that all permanent and non permanent employees will continue to get there salaries for the forseeable future whether it's a private or govt firm.
@Keegan Murphy Trying to secure some kind of housing for the sick ones. Hotels, High schools, etc... Asking them to camp with less people... Still trying to acquire gloves, masks and other protective gear for the people working with the homeless as well.
Completley agree with you here Mark, many people i know are not taking this seriously. I even know someone with a weak immune system who is still going out! Thats the madest thing iv heard! As you know i did comment in Feb on one of your videos saying i had a serious flu, SINCE THEN i have literally not left the house, i have illness's myself to be honest so i just can't afford this, i couldn't even afford the bad flu i did have (which i suspect was maybe this Virus). I know its hard for some people, i really do but we are doing this for the good in the future, our future will be worse for longer if we don't do this short term thing first. Sorry for the rant Mark, but its because i just strongly agree with you tbh, i haven't even been to see my mother today so yes its very hard, its very difficult, but people have to in a way think of their loved ones for this, do you want the people you love to suffer? I don't think so. Love you tho Mark, (sorry!)
Yeah, I have heard ridiculous things like "Just 1% of people infected actually die" wtf, how about asking yourself if you or your loved ones are part of that 1%. 1% of 2 million is 20,000 bloody lives, get a grip people and don't be selfish
How about 500k deaths That we can't prevent anyway!! and causing economic collapse that at a minimum will cause 1 million suicides after this is all finished the economy needs to come first
This is laughable, there is no economy without heathy people, and you are throwing out arbitrary numbers like 500k death , 1 million suicides have you seen the future where do this numbers come from? The fact is things would be much worse without all the measures being taken.
Wise words man. I was just as bad a week ago. But the penny dropped. Now we are fully isolated. Working from home and in our free time just reading a good book or watching a movie. We just have to change our mind set and routines. But lets keep an eye on each other!!!! Cabin fever can also kick in
Legit cannot agree more with what mark saying here went to visit my mum in the hospital as she is recovering from a urinary sepsis condition and I saw loads of people in the park with their kids like they dont know a mass killing virus is at large
Oh that's really clever, never would've thought of it,I'm just going to continue doing what I wish, but in my dreams.....actually that is my life story,so yeah, carry on as usual.
Even the public play grounds in Ireland are closed with a week. It's scary how far the UK is behind everyone else. It's gonna be grim in a few weeks. Be safe everyone.
I'm starting to feel more positive about the situation we are in as it is giving me and chance to get things done in the house and garden. But people need to stop going out and stay in apart from food shopping. Even then thousands and thousands lining up outside supermarkets is pathetic. Stay at home and do things you now have time for
All big RU-vidrs should upload a stark reminder of the consequences, like you did Mark. Yours and their reach will be productive. The important advise I want to add is to use steam at least twice a day for 5-10 mins to the sinus areas. So, either side of the nostrils, the inner area of the eyes where when you wake up and their is that build up and finally either side just above both the eyebrows on the forehead, I hope I've communicated properly this very important advice. So boil some water, empty into a ceramic or stone vessel, cover your head with a towel and allow the steam to sinus areas. Mark and your subscribers spread this message to your loved ones and further on. Thank you for heeding this crucial advise. Obviously also heed government and medical advice. Stay indoors, wash your hands using the Ignaz Semmelweis method every two hours and of course 2m = 6ft apart. Much obliged.
Hand sanitizer isn't a viable way of stopping the contagion it's passed on through the respiratory system, hand washing is being advised as it's generally good practice, but it's relevance to this pandemic is negligible
Liam Jones don’t spread inaccurate information. People can easily pass the virus by sneezing or coughing into their hand then touch public surfaces like atm’s where the virus can live for at least 3 days. If the virus is on a public surface like an atm and people touching that touch their eye’s, ears, nose or mouth they can get infected. Washing hands is the strongest weapon we have against it.
Great advice from someone who was posting pictures online of his new haircut just a few days ago 🙄 Or did the barber cut his hair using some kind of remote controlled device? 🤔
Trust me Mark, I am depressed and stressed as well blud. It's hard to be upbeat at the moment. F**k this world and f**k my life. Life is so unfair it's unbelievable, this Coronavirus is only gonna get worse as much as I hate to say it. 2020 is going to end up being a disaster, it is tough times indeed. I hope you, your kids, your wife and your loved ones are doing well. Keep up the great work Mark, you certainly do good content
The government needs to make an affirmative decision on a lockdown because as a nation we are not responsible enough to do this the right way and its proven with what's happening lately. 100% agree Mark
People find it easier to be greedy, nasty and self centered bugger off anyone else than decent. There are truly fanastic souls out there doing whatever they can but the tide is against them. I'm scared would could happen next.
Thanks so much for doing this Mark. Please keep spreading awareness. This Virus can be deadly for some people. LETS NOT SPREAD IT AND POTENTIALLY make someone sick or worse case scenario kill some one that's at high risk.
Ok mark I still hate you for the reason outlined yesterday, however I find myself looking out for your daily rant,I actually am coming to love it. But I won't ever go to the dark side supporting that man untd. Stay safe, and keep content going mark, honestly you're a ray of sunshine in a very dark time. Rest of you guys pls use the advice, even if you are healthy and will come through it,think of those who you love who may not, children, parents, grandparents etc. I am high risk to die if exposed to it due to lung disease,so I am worried, but trying to stay optimistic, and pls god will see you all on the other side of this.
I have read reports about people still going to beach resorts and national parks as if nothing has changed and that their attitude is that Covid-19 won't affect them. This makes me so angry as I am now working from home and staying indoors to avoid catching it and passing onto someone like my dad who is vulnerable because of his COPD. I am taking government advice in terms of cutting myself off from others to ensure that the restrictions are lifted sooner but because of so many selfish people, my isolation is going to last longer. People seem to think it won't happen to them and won't take it seriously until they either get it or someone close to them dies from it. People need to wake up and smell the coffee as we are on course to be like Italy unless people change their behaviour.
How many people stayed away from their mum today but posted a card through her door Did you think not to lick the envelope? its little things like that where people dont realise they can potentially be spreading the virus
Hey Mark I hope we all recover from this pandemic quickly and safely as well. Hope u stay safe in UK. We here in India are taking measures to stop it from spreading. The cases are not that much in India but our govt said no one should come out today and I think that is how we've got tackle this issue. There's no cure for this so we've got to prevent it.
I have not been out due to illness but I am going to have to go out in a few days for food as last time there was just empty shelves but I managed to buy watercress and crisps which has been interesting.
It's so sad all the deaths...what's sadder is that you can't even have funerals for your loved ones that have died. People please give your head a shake, this is a pandemic. Just did my grocery order online
@@desfefe You can't because everyone thinks ordering online is the right thing to do. It isn't. The Supermarkets can't handle the the demand. If you're able bodied and not vulnerable, get to the supermarket (not all queuing outside when it first opens though)
@@franklingoodwin It really does built for this kinda thing, until the world goes back to normal. then I'll be just another lonely weirdo but gotta take the rough with the smooth.
I think we should all be unselfish and practise lots of things with words prefixed with self. That’ll be a good unselfish idea. I might even film myself and spread the image of myself. Where’s my Nobel peace prize?
So, what you are saying is that I shouldn't go out later today to the barbers? I was going to go to the one you went to a couple of days ago. Hypocrisy, thy name is Goldbridge!
