Awesome video Travis. I've been eyeing these and am still on the fence as to whether or not I will grab them or the Plantronics backbeat pro 2 's. I did notice that Amazon dropped the price of these to $129.97 so that is a plus I guess. Looking forward to your comparison video soon. Keep up the great work brother! 💪🏽

Love all the info you give! I have found the videos really helpful. I ended up getting my young nieces the jlab wireless neons you recommended for Christmas because they both needed new ones. I was told neither wanted 5 dollar ear buds anymore. They specifically wanted the headphone style of on the ear or over. I personally ended up with the edifier 830 due to your review and love them! Good afternoon, Won a fan from Brazil who likes earphone reviews. In Aliexpress the Edifier W860NB and Anker Soundcore Space NC are priced similarly (Anker is a little cheaper). Regarding sound quality and ANC, does Anker do better or are it really worth investing $ 55 more on the W860NB? In terms of sound, does the W830BT you love beat Aker Soundcore Space NC? Great review. I'm always concerned about the swipe controls not holding up over time. I prefer push button controls. If you don't care about ANC the edifier 830 is a better price and more listening time and use out of the headphones

For me it’s hard to go back to my wireless pxc 550s from Sennheiser since I got their he 600s now and the sound is next frickin level!!!

Travis, so I went and bought both these edifiers and the back beat pro 2 SE. I got the BBP2 SE at a good price at the time ($174.99) so I felt these edifiers were good to compare to. I ended up sending back the edifiers due to many problems. Sound to me was not as good as the BBP2s, the switching between phone and laptop while watching a vid would mute the vid but not pause it so if I was talking on the phone the vid would continue just muted. Call quality sounded like they were underwater compared again to the BBP2s which were a lot clearer. After using the edifiers, the earcups would hurt my ears and had to take a break. ANC was better on the BBP2s too. 3 hours in of using them and they started cutting out. I sent back the edifiers w860s and kept the BBP2 SE. I left a review on amazon if you wanna read more about my issues with them. Im the one who left 1 star....

To be honest, actually those headphones are nice, but theres a big gap between the price, theres a huge reduction in battery life also, and i think both of those two have almost the same unboxing experience, except the 860bt (not a great name for a headphone btw) has a noise cancelling, i'd prefer the 830 though. Anyway great review trav keep up the good work.

Good review, thanks! I had bought them and was facing a problem with these headphones, when you connect two devices with them, you can only listen to music from the device that you connected first, second device can be used to pick up calls but play music and you hear nothing even when they are connected, you resume music on first device and it is working. is it just me or anybody else faced same issue?

I've been very impressed by these. I got them on closeout for under $80 shipped. Pros include strong battery life, solid ANC, overall comfort and above average sound. At $200 though, these would come up short to what you can get today.

Looks nice! Great review! Also, a recommendation for a future video, maybe a top 5, or better yet, a headphone tournament for all your headphones from the 75 ish to 200 dollar price range. This is actually more of a selfish request as I am looking for some really good headphones in that price range, but I also think it would be really entertaining for other viewers as well. You don’t have to of course, since it’s your channel, but you know, a lot of people and I would definitely be grateful if you did. 😉

You should try out the Xtribit Free Tune. I saw Cnet rank them among the best headphones of the year and they're only 50 dollars. Tried them myself and they have great sound quality

I have one.They don't have ANC but they have too few bass.It's ear cushion is very great but it will be uncomfortable after a period of time, especially in summer days.But hope you can try it cause it is quite nice

I have had the w830bt for 18 months. They are great in general. However if you would like that extra luxury experience (slightly softer earcup material, noise cancelling, labbeled earcup inners and a slightly harder hard case then i would get the 860nb. But 830bts have been flawless for me

Bought the 830's and returned them. They sounded funny, like in a tunnel. I think I got a bad set. Maybe out of phase, don't know. Have the Cleer DU BT instead, much better than the 830's.

Sound is subjective and the music and the quality of the music I listen to sound really good on the Cleer. If you read above, I got a bad set, so yes the Cleer set does sound better. I've had Edifier computer speakers, Prism series, and they were great. Which is why I was disappointed with the 830's and why I know I got a bad set. You may prefer the 830's, but in MY opinion, Cleer wins.

i've had them for 2 months but they are about as fragile as an Iphone, I dropped the once & now the left ear cushion barely sticks & the left side is flimsy. on top of that , edifier doesn't offer any help in that regard. I would avoid them, not because they aren't good, (they are they best headphones i've had so far for the price) but because of edifier as a company not helping at all

I like these but definitely better sounding with ANC off. With it on the bass is cut, drastically even. I recommend getting the W830BT over these and saving $50.

They are worth $100 max. ANC works, but the bass is trash. I managed to amplify the bass and overall volume via Viper4Android and Poweramp, but you need to root your phone. Wired mode is so much better. Edifier should provide us some OTA firmware update, but there is no app for this headphones. Official app exists, but doesn't support w860nb. Anyways app is useless.
